The War (Book 2)

There was a lot of intense training as everyone finally got used to their new weapons. And with Buster's help Gemerl managed to master his body. And now Buster and Tails was preparing Gemerl for putting the emerald shard in him.

Later

Tails: So how's your wispons doing?

Tangle: It's fun.

Zero: It's easy.

Whisper: It's difficult.

Zero and Tangle: Really?

Whisper: I have to learn how to wield a giant hammer, shoot an exploding rocket, fly in the air, shoot piercing spikes balls and saw blades, and shoot a fast laser. Why'd you put so many modes on here?

Tails: I don't know. Iconic weapon from another universe? I just thought you would grow use to it. It was a better idea in my head. Also you're the leader. And um. I don't actually have a reason. Just call it a gift. For helping me.

Whisper: Then your welcome. It's difficult. But I am getting better. And I made the others try out the guns. They're getting better in they're target practice.

Tails: That's good to know. 

Whisper: And how's Gemerl?

Buster: He's already getting used to the shard.

Whisper: At this point I think we should go to war in maybe this or next month.

One month later

Everyone felt ready. One month of practicing can do a lot to a man. And a woe man. And a fox, a hedgehog, a bird, a cat, a dog, and ect. They started marching down towards the base. 

Whisper: You guys ready!?

Everyone: RIGHT!!!!

Whisper: Let's go!

They all covered themselves in a cloak that Buster and Tails made. That can camoflauge themselves from everything. When they got close enough Whisper got a laser and made a hole on the wall.

Whisper: Ok let's go. 

Everyone: CHARGE!!!!!!

Everyone made a sudden scream as they charged in and started their invasion. Everyone blasted every enemy robot they saw. Then an alarm went off. And every soldier started coming down.

Soldier 132: Get dow "shot in the face"

Soldier 56: Call in the robots!

Whisper used her cube hammer and swung at a bunch of robots then did a flip similar to what Amy would do then shot her rocket. Zero jumped at a robot then used his wispon on the ground and turned the robots into frozen cubes and grabbed his necklace and shouted illusion slash as a red slash formed and sliced apart a bunch of robots. Tangle grabs a few robots and throws them at the others with her tail then uses her wispon and lightning whips every robot in range. Tails rammed and spindashed a bunch of robots and fully charged his arm cannon and fired at a group of robots. Gemerl flew around while using a rocket launcher on the enemy. Mina was drilling into robots one by one. Everyone else used their targeting practice and fired at all the enemy robots until they were wiped out.

Whisper: We did it! 

Everyone: Wahoo!

Tails: That felt easy.

Zero: Guess everyone got stronger the past month.

Whisper: Just one target left!

???: Well well well. The rebellion's taking a stand.

Tangle: You bet we are!

Zero: We're gonna take all this back!

Whisper: And free ourselves!

Rebellion members: That's right!

Other rebellion members: No where to run!

??? smirked.

Tails: Who's that?

Zero: That's the leader of Sithra. Norman. (I was gonna think a cool name and this was the best I could think your welcome)

Norman: Who says that I'm done. Just because I'm by myself doesn't mean I will lose.

Tangle: He seems confident.

Norman: Hm. Oh I'll take that. 

Norman presses a button then a strange magnet appears with 2 familiar glowing objects inside.

Tails: That's the emerald shards!

The magnet with the shards started taking Gemerl away.

Whisper, Zero, Tangle, Tails and Buster: GEMERL!!!!!!

Gemerl: E -glitch- war.

Gemerl slowly get destroyed and the shard gets absorbed in the machine. Then Whisper, Zero, Tangle, and Tails in anger started running with killing intent. Whisper came with hammer. Zero with his sword. Tangle with her lightning. And Tails with his arm cannon. Norman presses a button and a barrier blasts them away. As he did that he noticed something. 

Norman: Hm. Curious. Hey 2 tailed creep. Are you Miles Prower?

Everyone looked at Tails. Wondering what he was talking about.

Tails: Why does it matter? I don't even know you either way.

Norman: I heard about you. I was friends of your parents. In fact we worked together.

Tails's eyes started losing their shine. As if his anger left. And hatred came in. 

Norman: It's a shame your parents died. I don't know what the cause was. Everyone assumed you were dead too. "smiles" And I wonder who killed that girl you called a friend.

Tails disappeared and appeared infront Norman about to punch him in the face.

Tails: DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT HER!!!!!!!!

Tails punched Norman in the face hard enough to make him go through the other room. 

Norman: I see you're angry. Is this Cosmo that dear to you?

Tails: I SAID DON'T TALK ABOUT HER!!!!!!!!

Norman pressed a button and the emerald shards came and zapped Tails. 

Norman: Nahah. No killing. And by that I mean no killing me.

Normam went in a mech suit with the emerald shards coming in to power it. Leaving Tails past out. And the others came running.

Whisper: Tails! You ok?

Zero: He's losing his pulse.

Tangle: That guy is gonna pay!

Zero: ...   

Zero: I'm going full power.

Whisper: But if you do-

Zero: I don't care. You guys better stay out of the way.

Zero held tight to his necklace and a red aura appeared around him. Then he flew off to fight the mech.
