Luke Hemming's P.O.V.
"I don't like it when you leave." Nevaeh whispered, her hair covering half her face as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"I don't either." I mumbled. "But I'm here now."
Nevaeh kept her head down, not daring to lookup at me as she crawled across the bed, laying down next to me.
I huffed, wanting her next to me.
"I don't understand why you won't tell me where you go ever single night!" She snapped out after a few beats of silence.
"I don't have a choice okay?! If I did, I would tell you, god damn." I barked out. Sadness flooded into her eyes and she rolled over, creating more space between us.
"I knew this would happen." She whispered, more to herself.
"What the hell does that mean?!" Much to my disappointment, she just shrugged and cuddled the blanket closer to her chest, her pale fist clenching the soft materiel.
I heaved a heavy sigh before gripping her waist and pulling her into my lap. Her cheeks flushed and she tried to roll off of me.
"Baby, look at me." I pleaded, cupping her face in my hands. Her eyes slowly connected with mine and I saw tears slowly collect in them.
"I don't want to." She looked down and closed her eyes shut tight.
"I promise, once this is all over, I'll tell you everything." I whimpered, my voice cracking.
"Don't cry." Nevaeh whispered. She placed her thumbs under neath my eyes and wiped away the tears that had fell on my face.
"How can I not when the one I live is m-mad at me?" I sounded like a complete pussy, but I couldn't help it.
She shook her head. "I love you."
Cherry Chapstick was what I tasted when her lips met mine, her slim fingers fisting my hair.
I woke up covered in sweat and something weighing me down. My hands clammed up and I started shaking as I looked down to see Nevaeh wrapped up around my waist. It wasn't the fact that she was wrapped around me and holding on for dear life; It was the fact that I was holding her even tighter than she was holding onto me.

"Where did you go, Mr Hemmings?" Calum asked as I walked in the door. His eyes where squinty and his hair tousled, fresh from just waking up.
"I went and got breakfast," I held up the bags and cup holders that covered and arms and hands. "Had anyone woken up Arabs eaten yet?"
"Um, I think Nevaeh came down and had a cup of milk about ten minuets ago but that's it." Calum shrugged.
I nodded. "These are for Amayah and Ash. This is for you, and this is for Michael." I separated the bags equally and then made my way towards the room Nevaeh and I where staying in.
A lump of sheets and blankets was in the middle of the bed, Nevaeh's head peeking out at the top. "Hey." She whispered.
"Hi." I breathed. "I got breakfast."
"I can smell that." She smiled, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
"Mhm. I got chocolate fudge cupcakes and strawberry smoothies. Your favorite." I added shyly.
"Thank you." Her cheeks flushed red as I sat down next to her and passed her a muffin.
"Why'd you do this, and how'd you know this was my favorite?" She asked, glancing from her muffin to me.
"Well, I had a dream last night.."
