When me and Michael used to live in a apartment together and him and Calum got into fights, the first place you could find Calum was at a bar. He would be on maybe his third drink before realizing that he was being immature and that he needed to make up with Michael, even if they were only friends at the time, but this was not one of those times. Calum was sat at the bar with seven empty glasses, one half empty in his hand and two full and ready to be drank when Calum finished the half empty one. A very pretty brunette was on his lap grinding away like there was no tomorrow.
A lazy smile was on his lips and his head was thrown back but there was no tent growing in his jeans, no sign of pleasure other than the half-ass smile on his face. I walked towards his and tapped the girl on the shoulder. She turned to me and her lip curled up. "What?" She spat.
"Unless you want to be charged by the police for harassment I suggest you get the fuck off." I threatened.
"Harassment? Honey, I don't know what type of drinks you've had but he's obviously enjoying my company." She giggled.
"He's got a label that could take everything you down within twenty four hours, a fan base that could make your life a nightmare and a group of friends that could expose you as a slut and only trigger more drama, so again, I suggest you back the fuck off before I get pissed!"
She scurried off Calum's lap and ran off. I sighed and threw my purse and coat down on the table top before grabbing the drink in Calum's hand and slamming it down on the table, out of his reach.
"I was gonna, I was gonna drink that." Cal said as steely as he could while being wasted.
"Not anymore. Calum why are you even in this nasty bar when you should be at home with Mik-" I started to say.
"Don't start with that bullshit!" Calum snapped. "Michael isn't gonna want me after the media gets to him. They're gonna say nasty things and criticize us for being together and," He paused. "Michael's not going to be able to take and he's gonna end things with me, I'm gonna lose my best friend." He threw his head bang and gulped down the rest of his beer.
"So your just going to give up? You're just going to let it happen? You're not going to at least try to convince him that things are going to be alright, if even were to think about leaving you which is less than likely to happen because he loves you? Calum you don't know for sure that Michael is just going to give up, don't you at least have a little faith in him? Any faith at all? He called me right before I came here, sobbing over the phone and saying how he couldn't find you and that he was scared you were going to leave him. Are you really going to sit here and give up the relationship that you've built with Michael for the past years just because you're having doubts?" I exclaimed, grabbing the cup full of beer out of his reach and sliding it to the ground.
"That's crazy, why would I leave him? I never doubted him, I'm scared of what the media can put in his head, okay! He's done nothing to make me think about leaving him even for the slightest second!" He stood and dragged his fingers through his hair then tugged. "I need to go back and apologize for leaving when I shouldn't have."
"C'mon, I'll take you home." It was the only thing I could say without yelling at him sarcastically.

After everyone was in bead and Calum still hadn't even stepped in Michael, even though he said he was going to apoligize, I heard crying. Not the quiet crying that is in the movies, the heart stopping crying where you sob and sob and sob until you can't breath and then you have to suck in a sharp breath before sobbing some more. That type of crying.
I climbed out of bed careful not to disturb a half naked Luke and walked towards Michael's room. He was under the covers completely with a pillow sticking out of the blanket slightly. The only light in the room was the dim lamp from the bedside table.
"Mickey." I sighed as I crawled on the bed and glow lay dragged the covers off him. He looked up at me with blood shot eyes and a wobbly bottom lip. "I'm so sorry."
He burst into tears again and his hands shot up to cover his face so I wouldn't see him fall apart. I wrapped my arms and his torso and he leaned onto me. What did he do to deserve this?
