I had texted Tyler saying I had to bail early, a friend was picking me up, as Luke put the car in drive.

His eyes still had bags under than and his hair was still a mess if not messier but his skin was glowing and his lips were in the form of a small smile. He was happy to see me, to be with me, but the one thing that boggled my mind was why? Why now did he decide he wanted me? Why didn't he decide he wanted me when he started to remember me? It just doesn't make sense.

"How did you get here? How did you find me?" I blurted.

He looked over at me and squinted. "It wasn't that hard considering you had the famous Liam Payne with you and paps follow him everywhere."

I nodded my head, it was believable yes, but not something Luke would do in a situation like this, especially the Luke I know.

"So what now? What happens after this? Where does this put us, because last time I saw you you defeated me without regret."

"That's not true. I did what I had to do to make myself understand that I need you. In the moment it felt right to send you away, now? Not so much." Luke cringed.

I stayed silent, playing with my fingers until his hand reached upon mine and grasped it gently.

"I love you, you know that right?" He asked, switching to the highway that lead straight to the airport.

I froze for a moment before something settled in the pit of my stomach. It was a strange feeling really, like a weight that couldn't be moved. Then there was another weight, but this time in my throat and tears started to build up. I love Luke, possibly more than I love myself, but how an I going to cope with him again? He raped me once, he's yelled at me without any drawbacks, he's hit me and he's given up on me, how an I supposed to just give in so quickly?

Tears were now streaming down my face as sobs left my mouth and I knew Luke was calling my name but I couldn't move, I couldn't think and I sure as hell couldn't speak.

Luke pulled into the airport and got out of the car, leaving the engine running and his door open before he appeared at my side of the car. He unbuckled my seatbelt and moved me so I was facing him.

"Nevaeh you have to listen to me, I don't know what I did but I can't sit here and listen to you cry, you need to tell me what's wrong or what I can do to make it better because baby right now you're terrifying me." He whisoered, taking my tear stained cheeks in his hands and cupping my face.

My bit my lip before telling him. "I'm scared you're gonna leave or make me leave again, it terrifies me the most."

"I'm not going anywhere; I love you."

I sobbed again. "How do I know that though, Luke?"

"I'm gonna have to prove it too you but for right now all I can do is promise you I'm not going anywhere, okay?"

I nodded. "O-kay."
