Xiao x F!Reader 💔💕 {A new addition}

Sorry this is the first time I write a one shot like this .<.

You were also and adeptus , and that's how you pretty much met your husband , Xiao, he fell in love with you at first sight, which is pretty rare to happen especially from Xiao, and you happened to like him back , so you guys started dating for 5 years until he decided to propose to you , and you guys got married.

It all started when you told him you were pregnant. You were excited , you thought he would be too . So that morning when you found out using a pregnancy test (let's pretend they exist there) ,you were ecstatic to tell him.

That fateful day , you were sleeping in the Wangshu inn the past night , he was looking outside the window when you came out with the news.

"Xiao...darling...I have some news...~" you said with a cheeky smile on your lips , hiding the pregnancy test behind your back.

"What is it , y/n?" He looks at you and asks , and takes a few steps closer .

You excitedly pull out the test from behind your back and show the "positive" sign to him and smile , "We're having a new addition to the family!"

Xiao looks at you , and blinks a few times , he doesn't know how to react

He didn't intend for this to happen.

"No...this...can't be.." he facepalms .

You start feeling like something is off.

"I didn't intend for this to happen...y/n, I can't do this and neither can you"

"Xiao..?what are you talking about...?" tears started forming in your eyes

Did he just reject his future child?

"y/n this is dangerous...this will make you a bigger target for the fatui! They have an open chance to kill an adeptus! And even more , a future adeptus !"

"Xiao...we'll go through this together....you'll always be here for me right ?" you ask

"NO! HOW DO YOU THAT I WON'T DIE TOMORROW ? I COULD GET KILLED ANY DAY , BUT NOW THAT WE'RE GONNA HAVE AN ADDITION ITS WORSE BECAUSE I WOULD LEAVE YOU AND OUR KID BEHIND!" he shouted .

You twitched and shivered , you were sensitive to loud noise and he knew that .

Tears were falling down your cheek and looked down at the ground , rubbing your belly.

Xiao takes a deep breath and looks at you.

"Y/n ... I'm sorry- I didn't mean to snap like that.." he reached out his hands to to wipe your tears away.

"I'm just really worried about you being targeted since pregnancy weakens your power and makes it easier to take you down ... But I swear I will protect you...and if I die I know the rest of the adepti will be there with you"

He pulled you in for a hug and kissed your forehead , holding you tighter.

He gently carried you to the bed after that , put you down gently on it then sat beside you , spooning you while caressing your hair.

"I love you y/n...and I love you too , little one" he said as his hand ventured down to rub your belly.

You chuckle and look up at him "I love you too Xiao"

"I promise , we'll do this together." He kept whispering sweet nothings into your ear until you fall asleep.
