Best Friends from the Beginning (A Hunter Hayes fanfic) Book 1 of Our Life Saga

Chapter 4: Lunch

*One hour later*

"Here Hannah, set the napkins, then you can go wait for them at the door ok?", my mom told me.

"Ok," I told her.

After I placed the napkins, I ran straight to the door. As soon as I got to the door, the doorbell rang, then my dad ran down the stairs after I opened the door. Hunter was just standing there, with his bright blue eyes staring into mine brown eyes. Then he snapped out of his thinking, and gave me a bouquet of white tulips, my favorite.

"Hey, do you want to help me find a vase?", I asked Hunter.

"Sure," he replied. So I grabbed his hand and ran around the house till we were running too fast, we ran right past one.

"Hannah, stop, we ran right past a vase!," Hunter said laughing at me.

"Sorry," I said apologizing, blushing a little.

"It's ok", he said.

"Thank you for the flowers", I told him.

"Your welcome," Hunter said.

Then I ran to Leo and Lynette and hugged them and thanked them for the flowers. Then, my mom told me that lunch was ready. So I went and got Hunter and we took a seat at the table. We prayed and started to eat.

*30 minutes later* 

"Mama, can me and Hunter go play outside?", I asked my mom.

"Yeah", she said. Me and Hunter ran outside, then I tagged Hunter. 

"Your it", I tell Hunter.

"Oh, it's on", he said.

After playing tag for 20 minutes I needed a break so I sat behind the big oak tree in my backyard. After I sat down, Hunter came and sat next to me. After 5 minutes of calming down, Hunter out of nowhere said,

"Kiss me", he said.

"No, I can't do that, you're my best friend", I said.

"Come on, I dare you", he said. I stand up and said, 

"On, the count of three ok," I said. 

"Ok," he said happily. 

"One, two, three", we both said at the same time. We did a quick peck on the lips. Then we both promised not to tell anyone we kissed. 

*20 minutes later*

20 minutes later, Hunter, Lynette, and Leo were leaving. So we said our goodbyes and they left. Later that night after my parents put me to bed, I asked myself, what just happened today? Did I really kiss my best friend? 

A/N: Hey guys, Happy Monday! So I did the rankings on my Teenage Fever Tour book, so that means I am going to do it for this book. The first ranking is Hunter Hayes, which was #23 which is pretty good. The next ranking was Hunter Hayes fanfiction. That ranking was #5 which is amazing. Then, my last ranking which the best ranking and the top ranking from both of my stories was Hunter Hayes fanfic that came in #2. That was a big surprise to me so thank you guys.
