*2 years later, 1998*
Today Hunter is going to be on the 'The Maury Show', which is in New York. Hunter is becoming a child prodigy has most people say. It's also very exciting being in New York. I haven't been to other states other than Louisiana. Right now we are backstage at the show which is amazing.
"Hannah," Lynette said.
"Yes," I replied.
"The producer is going to show me and Hunter around, do you want to come?", Lynette asked.
"Sure", I said while putting the crayon down because I was coloring on a piece of paper in Hunter's dressing room.
*A few minutes later*
Lynette and Hunter were ahead of me, till we stopped at a dressing room. The producer whose name is Natalie opened the door and we saw a man with brown hair, in maybe his mid-forties.
"Hi, you must be Lynette!", said Maury.
"Yes, and this is Hunter," Lynette told Maury.
"Nice to meet you Hunter, and who's this?", Maury asked looking at me.
"This is Hannah, Hunter's best friend", said Lynette.
"Hi", I said shyly.
*30 minutes later*
We were heading back to Hunter's dressing room. I was following Hunter and Lynette till a boy about my age came up to me and said hello.
"Hi," the boy said.
"Hi," I said shyly.
"What's your name?", the boy asked me.
"Hannah", I said.
"That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl like you", the boy says while I blush.
"What's your name?", I asked the boy.
"Jake", he says. Me and Jake talked the rest of the way to Hunter's dressing room. Apparently his mom is Natalie, so I thought that was cool.
"Well see you later, I guess", I said to Jake outside of Hunter's dressing room.
"See ya", Jake waves to me goodbye and exchanges hugs.
When I walked into Hunter's dressing room, Hunter looked at me with jealousy all over his face.
"So...", Hunter started to speak. "Who was that kid you were talking to?".
"Oh, Jake, he's Natalie's son, and he's super nice", I said while blushing.
"Why are you blushing?", Hunter asked.
"Because...it's hot in here," I said, lying.
"Wow, I know when you're lying", Hunter states.
"Do you like Jake?", Hunter asked me.
"No", I said, telling the truth.
"Who do you like then?", Hunter asks me.
"Nobody", I said.
"Are you sure?"Hunter asked, looking at me.
"I'm positive", I said.
A few minutes later I took a short walk with my mom and I saw Jake. He asked a question that he forgot to ask earlier.
"Why are you here?".
"Oh, my best friend Hunter Hayes is playing", I told him.
"Oh", he said.
*Showtime*
*Hunter's POV*
I'm about to get called up on so wish me luck.
"Now to perform, Hunter Hayes," Maury said, welcoming me up on stage. We talked for a while then I performed 'Jambalaya'.
*Hannah's POV*
Me, my mom, my dad, Timmy, Lynette, and Leo are all sitting in Hunter's dressing room watching his performance, he did amazing.
After the show we all ate ice cream, then a few days later we headed home to Louisiana!
A/N: Hey guys, Happy Saturday! So school went well, I'm a little sore from P.E. but I'm fine. Also, about the story.
