*June 18th 1995*
Right now I'm at Hunter's house because my baby brother is going to be born today. Right now it's 3:00 pm, and me and Hunter are watching the 'All-New Mickey Mouse Club'. In the middle of the show Hunter asked me a question.
"Hannah, are you ready to be a big sister?", he asked me.
"Yeah, but I have to admit that I am a little scared," I told him.
"Are you going to leave me?", Hunter asked a little sad.
"Why would you say that?", I asked him worriedly.
"Well, because you are going to love him more than you do to me," Hunter told me.
"Hunter, I know he's going to be my brother, but no one will ever replace my best friend," I confronted him.
"You promise?", he asked, holding up his pinkie.
"I promise", I said linking our fingers together, smiling and blushing.
"Hunter?", I asked him.
"Yeah", he said.
"Can you play your accordion?", I asked him.
"I will love to play for you", he said sweetly to me. He picked up his accordion and started to play for me.
*2 hours later, 5:00 PM*
Me, Hunter, Leo and Lynette are eating gumbo right now. My dad has been updating us on what is happening at the hospital.
"So, Hannah are you excited?," Lynette asked me.
"Yeah, I'm a little scared but I'm really excited for you guys and Hunter to meet him," I told them.
"Yes we are!," Hunter said.
*1 hour later*
"Hannah", Lynette yelled.
"Yes Lynette," I said heading into the kitchen.
"Your dad is on the phone", Lynette told me.
"Really!", I said excitedly.
"Here, come talk to him", Lynette said, gesturing me over. I grabbed the phone from her hand.
"Hi, Daddy!," I said.
"Hi baby girl, are you being good for Leo and Lynette?", he asked.
"Uh Uh", I said.
"Well, guess what", my dad said.
"What?", I asked
"Your baby brother is born!", my dad told me.
"Really?", I asked.
"Yes. We will be home in 2 hours ok?", my dad said.
"Ok, I love you bye daddy", I said.
"Ok, bye Hannah, I love you too," he said. I hung up and gave the phone back to Lynette and went to go back and play with Hunter.
*2 hours later*
Hunter and I are sitting on the couch waiting quietly and patiently, while Leo and Lynette are having coffee in the kitchen. Right now I am a hot nervous wreck. Hunter grabbed my hand and asked.
"Why are you so nervous?", he asked.
"Because, what if I'm a bad sister," I said nervously.
"Don't say that, you're going to be a great sister, because you're already a great best friend," Hunter said to me while grabbing my hand. I smiled at him and said.
"Thanks". I said. Then, Leo and Lynette walked into the living room.
"Hannah, we need to tell you something", Lynette told me.
"Your spending the night with us", Leo said.
"Why? Hannah's dad said-", Hunter said getting cut off by Leo and Lynette.
"We know what he said, but after you have a baby you're supposed to stay at the hospital overnight," Leo and Lynette both said.
"Is that why I have my duffle bag?", I asked.
"Yes, sweetheart," Lynette said to me.
"How about you guys go get ready for bed", Leo told us.
"Ok", me and Hunter said. That night I ended up staying the night with Hunter, dreaming of what was going to happen tomorrow.
*The next day, 6:30 pm*
Hunter and I are playing with his action figures, while Lynette and Leo are cleaning up from dinner. Then we heard the door open.
"Hello?", my mom said.
"Mommy!", I said excitedly while I ran to her.
"Hey, baby girl", she said while holding my baby brother. Lynette came running in and hugging my mom then my dad. We all said hello before holding my brother.
*10 minutes later*
Lynette and Leo went first holding my brother. After me and Hunter finished cleaning up his toys, it was our turn. When my mom was helping me with putting my baby brother in my arms Lynette asked my mom something.
"So Emily, what's his name?", Lynette asked.
"Timmy Paul Owen the 3rd", my mom told us.
"Hi Timmy, I'm your sister Hannah, I promise to take care of you and love you", I told Timmy who was cooing. Then my mom helped me put Timmy in Hunter's arms.
"You got him?", my mom asked Hunter.
"Yes, thank you," Hunter said.
"Hi, I'm Hunter, your sister's best friend, I promise to take care of you and love you of course. I will also protect you and your sister when you need it the most," Hunter said while looking at me.
"Well looks like someone has a crush on Hannah, huh Hunter?", said Lynette.
"Phtff, no I don't like Hannah, because she's my best friend, I can't like my best friend", Hunter said while blushing. We all laughed at him from saying that.
I could tell Hunter likes me because of the way he looks at me and talks to me, also because he blushes too.
