"Do YOU? I just arrived and am not the one marrying the empress."

I sighed and hit Owen over the head, I had caught him up with all he needed to know from the first to the latest attempt on our lives along with some other important points.

"Don't sound rude." I said.

"But you have no idea of tradition for a marriage here, it is different from Solor I know that much." He shoved me. "Go find the others they can help you."

I sighed walking off as he waved me away but unfortunately my endeavor in lead me to discover main different things about the marriage.

Melore said to me I was to bring a sort of offering, something as a gift to my bride.

Rain talked about the coats, how the man would give their coat or cape to the bride to 'put them under their protection'.

Kai talked about the blood oath to be exchanged between the married to bond them to each other.

So yes I was indeed a bit lost here as it was far from Solor tradition when a priest would read some words and we'd say vows.

I sighed rubbing my face, I cannot ask Elise herself, she wouldn't answer.

"Got it!" I said quite loudly, pleased to realize but scaring Wynna who was braiding my hair how it would be done for the men, braids going from the side of the head to the back where they joined into one, Elise is one special lady to make us fall for her make us do work, like an empress should.

"Got what?" She asked in a whisper, another maid helped me with my outfit, it still was mostly how I dressed before, same boots and pants but it was a short sleeves black low neckline and this none-stomach covering corset I wore changed out for a new one with a lighter brown color as mine was heavily damaged and this one had Elise's insignia on it and not the Solor one, I was also given new bracer with the new insignia and lighter color to match but no gloves, something about me needing to look how I always did to be recognizable but also different enough to pop out for today.... I stand out enough with my white hair and blue eyes but I let them work away at this.

I threw my simple black and hooded cape over my shoulders when they were done.

"You two can go now." I said, passing my hand in the short hair on the front and sighed. "Time to meet with my in-laws soon."

"Yes lady shadow." Both said and left and I sighed, looking in the mirror and wondering if Elise would decided to go as she was, a bit of an altered outfit or a dress, I wouldn't have believed me if I told younger me what I am about to do, younger me being two months ago.... Things change fast but the world won't wait for you.
