"Lady Sif, for what brings you here at this hour?" Diana curtsies for the warrior who smiles.

"I'm here to escort Y/n,"

"Y/n??" A few girls snicker.

"What has she done?" Concern coated the Missus' voice.

"Nothing, Prince Thor has just invited her to join us tonight, he wishes to converse with her about Midgard,"

"Prince Thor??" The girls gasp.

"Yes, now, if you would so kindly gesture to her room,"

~~~
"Y/n?" Sif knocked on the door and opened to see you fussing with your hair. "Are you ready?"
"Lady Sif!" You curtsy before nodding. "Of course," slinging the satchel over your shoulders she eyes it. "Oh, it's full of Midgard items Prince Thor may enjoy,"
"Thoughtful," Sif smile warmly before leading you out. "She will be back no later than the stroke of midnight,"
"Please, keep her if you wish," Diana chuckles.
~~~

"You don't own many dresses do you?" Sif looks to you.

"Being a maid doesn't require such a large wardrobe, Lady Sif,"

"Please, just Sif," the grand door of the lounge towered high, the guards pushing them open easily. "And I think we should fix that, the Allfather nor mother would be impressed with your current selection,"

"Well, once I get a hefty payment I'll be sure to spend my riches on a dress sewn with strings of gold!" your satiric tone made her laugh. "Sir Fandral, Sir Hogun, Sir Volstagg, Prince Thor," you curtsy.

"Oh, do not bother with such addressal, Lady Y/n," Fandral kicks his feet off the table and makes his way over to kiss your hand.

"If you wish, but realize my status isn't to the point of 'lady',"

"A maiden such as yourself deserves the utmost respect," his pearly teeth shine bright making you roll your eyes.

"You haven't quite grasped the talent of a silver tongue to coax me to your knees, Fandral,"

The warrior stood impressed, gesturing to a chair. "What have you brought?" Volstagg peered to the satchel.

"Midgard items I own," the objects spew out on the table. "Though I doubt you are interested in literature?"

"I do enjoy the... what was it? Tiny Blue striding hood,"

"Little red riding hood?" a smile tugs at your lips. "If you wish for such tales the library holds a plethora of the same,"

"You venture the royal library?" Hogun seemed interest in the slinky.

"I clean there often, it seems not many muse themselves with the selection,"

"Well, I will be sure to check it out," Thor smiles. "Now, have you heard of pop-tarts?"

~~~
"I assure you, a laptop will be needed to send an email," you laugh. "It is constructed on the device, not transferred from parchment to electronic via a simple 'oh please great parchment!',"
"Stark never specified how to do so," Thor playfully glares, drinking his mead jolly-like.
"Well, Tony Stark needs to invest in teaching lessons," sipping quietly at your drink the door of the lounge opened to reveal Loki holding a book. "Prince Loki," you stood up quickly, bowing for the god.
"Y/n? What are you doing here?" the book shut in his hands.
"Y/n here is quite the maiden, Midgard enthusiast," Thor wraps an arm around you.
"Just that? I'm offended, Thor, has my brilliance not swoon you?" dramatically falling into his arms he boomed his laugh.
"And much more," he adds on. "What brings you here, brother?"
"I was merely looking to settle to read somewhere else," he sat down in his usual seat which was beside where you sat before.
"How are you liking the book?" You sit back down and turn to him hopefully.
"Odd, but enjoyable,"
"Then I will be sure to invest in a copy," you quip staring invested in his eyes which he returned.
"Help!" Volstagg struggled with the Chinese finger trap which made you snicker. "It's got me!"
"Oh, quiet down, stop being so dramatic," kicking to your feet you walk over and free his fingers. "It's a simple puzzle... speaking of!" You scamper back to the bag and take out a large box.
"What's that?"
"The last time the merchant came around I bought this puzzle box, I haven't yet tried it out," the simple box decorated in patterns seemed like it held no entrance nor secret.
"Well, it looks like a simple box," Fandral scoffs, bending down to get a look. "You may have been conned,"
"I trust the merchant with my whole being,"
"How do we start?" Sif sits by your feet and stares.
"We find the first clue,"
~~~

The solving turned into a competition. Who could find the most clues.

"Aha!" Fandral takes out a piece for everyone to see.

"Which means..." You takes the piece and unlock another clue.

"How do you find these so quickly??" Hogun grumbles, evidently losing the competition.

"You focus on finding the next clue, not the future clues," unlocking a slot and twisting a hole with the stick in the slot you hums quietly and finish opening the box. "Ta-da!"

"You are frighteningly intelligent," Fandral breathes out. "Flawlessly and effortlessly so,"

"Is this your way to admit defeat?" he scoffs as you look inside the box to see a small note. "What's this?"

Dear finder,

If you find this note it appears you have opened the box, congratulations! When I return present this note for I have a gift.

- The travelling merchant

"Now I can't wait!" You look to the group. "Do you wish to come when the merchant arrives next?"

"I think it will be good fun," Thor chirps as the rest agree, even prince Loki.
