It's been a few days not since Miroku has joined us and well it has been....eventful. I've had to smack him a few times to keep his paws off of Kagome and me. Not to mention the fight we had to deal with this man who used ink to make his demon monsters come to life. All controlled by a jewel shard. In the end, the ink completely devoured the man.

Ever since that incident I've been getting a bad feeling. Much like I did with the Kikyo incident. The air feels heavy and things feel..off-balanced. I can't help but get the feeling something bad is gonna happen and it's gonna happen soon. I haven't been able to talk to anyone about this. Could it just be a coincidence that the Kikyo thing happened at the same time as this feeling? Shaking my head I rubbed my temples hoping to soothe the migraine making its way in.

"Lady Mitsuki? Are you alright?" Shippo asked concerned laced in his voice.
"Yeah don't worry. It's just a small headache." I brushed it off composing myself. Whatever is coming, if something is coming. I need to be on high alert.

Soon the sun began to set and Miroku used his monk senses to warn a village that there's a "demonic presence" and in turn, they gave us a place to sleep for him to "exorcise" the demon out. What a load of shit. He just doesn't want to sleep outside.
"Ah, this is so much better than sleeping in the forest!  We'll have a hot meal, a nice bath, and climb under our nice, crisp sheets and have a good night's sleep for a change." Kagome joyfully commented while stuffing her face.

"Well, excuse me for making sleep in the wild all the time!" Inuyasha sarcastically apologized.
"Touchy touchy. What's with you these days?" she replied.  Shippo engaged in conversation with her about the whole thing.
"Pst! Inuyasha!" I whisper shouted.
"What do you want? Want to complain about sleeping in the forest too?" he accused.
"Not at all. Actually, I much prefer it. I understand now why you don't mind it. These people keep...looking at us. Like we're going to do something horrible to them." I admitted

"Well yeah! We're demons. It's all they ever expect from us." He replied. It almost sounded sad but he covered it well.
"If this place gets too stuffy we can leave and sleep outside." I offered and he nodded in thanks. Soon after Miroku got back an argument broke out. Sighing I shake my head and stomp my way outside.

"Those idiots. I can never get any silence aro-" I was cut off by a piercing feeling in my chest. The building behind me began to tremble as my heart began to beat at a rapid pace. The air became unbearably thick I could almost choke. I ran back to the door I exited from slamming it open while gasping for air and holding my chest.
"Mitsuki!" Kagome shouted in worry.

"Something- something is coming. Something big. Get ready. It's almost here." I gasped as I fell to the floor.
"A jewel shard! And it's approaching us very quickly!" Kagome fretted. A jewel shard. The something has a jewel shard.
"Lady Mitsuki!" Shippo exclaimed coming to my aid attempting to help me up.

"I'm alright. I'm- I'm fine. We need to get out of this building right now." I choked out.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Inuyasha yelled exasperated. I waved him off saying I'll explain later. This is no coincidence. These feelings are warnings. Quickly Inuyasha wrapped an arm around my waist and took off. Miroku is not far behind. We left Kagome and Shippo behind that way they stayed safe.

I don't know why they dragged me along when I'm going to be of no help. We made our way down a slope where villagers ran past us in fear. A giant demon loomed over us.
"This demon... It cant be?" I whispered as flashes of Sesshomaru's first visit appeared in my mind. That's when I saw him. The man who almost killed me. The man I helped.
"Sesshomaru.."
