"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" I yelled at no one in particular.
"I don't even know where I'm going!" I bellowed again. Some birds took off in fright of my voice. Sighing I sat down and played with one of my tails.
"Know I need to head East. That's my only clue but how am I supposed to know which way is East." I uttered in defeat. It's been about a week maybe a week and a half since I've left and here I was failing miserably. Like a spark to a fire, it hits me. Quickly standing up I took a look at the sky.
"The sun rises in the east!" I shouted enthusiastically.Just as I grabbed my bag I picked up a familiar scent. One that I couldn't place my finger on but I smelt blood. Lots of it. I quickly took off in the direction of the smell only to stop with a hitch in my voice upon the arrival of where the scent stops. I took a few shaky steps forward and fell to my knees.
"I promised to come back and see you but not like this." my voice quivered as tears threatened to fall. There on the ground covered in scratch marks and bites to what seems to have looked like originated from dogs was the young girl. The girl who desperately kept trying to help Sesshomaru when he got injured. So young. So pure. Only to end up like this. I sighed deeply as I went to pick up her body to give her a proper burial until a specific scent hit my nose.
"Hello, Sesshomaru."
