First Day on The Job (Part One)

///Todoroki's POV///

"Momo explain why you are waking me up early again?" I asked her, this was probably the 5th time I asked her, but my brain legit could not function this early.

"Shouto it's 2:40 pm." Momo reminded me.

"Still doesn't explain why you're waking me up." I told her.

We were both standing in the kitchen of the mansion and I was trying to eat a bagel while Momo was trying to force me out the door.

"Shouto, I'll explain once you get into my car! But you need to move your ass to it for that to happen." She complained. I sighed and left my sweet, sweet bagel on the counter as we left the house.

Momo's car was right outside waiting for us. Her car was one of those cars that makes you go hey I'm pretty sure that's a fancy car, but  if you told me it was a regular car I'd also believe it. I would tell you what kind of car it was, but I was too tired to think about that. I got into the passenger seat while Momo got into the driver's.

"So now that I'm in your car can you tell me why you woke me up?" I asked her. She nodded, but instead of answering she started driving and she also locked the car.

"Ok so before you try to run out, you have to listen to me." She said.

"Momo, why did you lock the car..?" I asked her, getting nervous.

"Well your dad sort of did a thing." She responded.

"Did he murder the president or something?" I asked her.

"No, it involves you.." she replied pursing her lips.

"He's finally disowned me? Momo that's good news." I told her.

"No it's something else..." She said, still being ominous. Her grasp on the steering wheel tightened.

"He's finally found a way to execute me? I knew this day was coming." I sighed.

"No! Shouto you're not gonna die." I could feel her urge to glare at me, but she kept her eyes on the road like the good driver she is. "You just have to promise you won't jump into the road." She said.

"You locked the car, but ok I promise." I told her.

"Ok so your dad got you a bodyguard." She quickly said.

"A what?" I just needed to make sure I heard her right.

"A bodyguard, Shouto." She repeated.

"Are you serious?" I asked her.

"Yup, he said it's because you might be some gang or someone's target, but I think he really did it to just get you a babysitter." She said getting the weight off her chest.

"I mean he'd say I'd suffer the consequences if I did something stupid again, but this? I don't need some old guy following me around everywhere." I sighed and looked over at Momo. "Do you even know who it is?"

"Nope, I was just told to get you and bring you to the office because you'll be getting a bodyguard." She explained.

"And there's no way that you're going to let me run away from this is there?" I asked her.

"Sorry, but no." She shook her head. "Hey, but maybe they'll be nice and you'll become friends or something." She said trying to be positive.
