Ally
I woke up in an unknown dark room, and only the moonlight creeping from the small window was making things visible.
And I tried to scan the entire room, but I could barely see anything. Then suddenly, my eyes landed on my unconscious mother, tied up on a chair on the other side of the room. I trembled and panicked.
I tried calling my mother, but whatever I do, there's no sound coming out from my mouth. That was when I realized, I was gagged like my mother was.
"I got what you want. Now, give me back my wife and my daughter!" I heard a very familiar voice coming from behind the door. And there I realized, it was my father.
"Whoa! Not so fast Mr. Winfeild." An unfamiliar voice hissed.
"What do you want?! I gave you the money you wanted! Now give me back my wife and my daughter!" My father shouted.
"You know, Mr Winfeild. I've always wanted to know how sweet and alluring your daughter is." He said. "So, would you mind if I---"
Before he could even finish his sentence. I heard loud bangs.
"So you came prepared eey."
"Leave them alone!" My father protested.
"I gave you what you want. So set them free!"
I heard running footsteps towards the room where me and my mother are locked in.
As soon as the running stopped, the door slammed open. And there, was my father running towards me.
"Are you okay?" My father worriedly asked. And I nod as an answer. "Did they hurt you?" I shook my head as a sign of clarification.
My father untied me, and removed the cloth from my mouth. As soon as I was already free, he hugged me and hurriedly ran towards my still unconscious mom.
"Amelia! Wake up honey!" My father whispered after he freed my mother.
As soon as I ran towards my parents, I saw people walking towards us.
"Amelia, as soon as those people enter this room, I want you and Ally to run as fast as you can towards that back door. And go home, okay?" My father whispered while pin pointing the back door.
"But dad---"
"No time for buts, Ally. I want you and your mother to be safe." My father interrupted me before I could even finish my sentence. And tears started to shed.
"Now, go! Hide! Run! Stay safe!"
Before we could even reach the back door, my mother stopped. "But honey! How about you?" My mother hesitantly asked my father.
"No time for that! Just remember that I love you, Ally, and Vio. Take care of yourselves, okay? Now go! And don't dare to look back!" My father said. As I ran back towards him and hugged him for the very last time.
I know what's going to happen. I know that they're going to kill my dad. I know that we won't be able to see him again. I ran back to my mom and went out the building.
As soon as we got out. I heard a loud bang. A bang that for surely killed my dad. The bang that took my father away from us--- forever.
As we started running away from the building, my tears started to shed again. It shed more than it did earlier.
"A....are you okay honey?" My mother worriedly asked. I shook my head as a sign of disagreement.
I felt a soft pat on my shoulders. And then my mother hugged me tightly. For that moment, I knew it was an 'everything is going to be okay' hug.
As we walked towards the entrance of our house, I was still sobbing.
-
A really hard slap snapped me out of my trance. But instead of feeling hurt, I feel so numb. My whole body feel so numb. I was used to getting hit--- like all the time. Getting scars, bruises, and slammed against walls.
"Heeeeeeey! A.....re you li...stineng?"
Mat shouted and grabbed my chin harshly so that I could face him. He was drunk that night. I pushed him away and tried to get up. But he caught my arm and slammed me against the wall.
So, I tried to break his gaze and kicked him in the balls. Oooh, that really hurts! But who the hell cared? He's a dumb fucking asshole and all.
"You know what Mat? I'm totally sick of all of these fucking stupid things! I've lived in hell for almost my lifetime already. And all I ever wanted was to escape from it." I shouted.
"I thought you were my pain reliever from all of these headaches. But I was wrong. You just made it worse."
Without any hesitation, I ran towards the door, out of the apartment, then to the street.
Oh my gosh!
Shit.
I'm so done.
A car almost took the living hell out of me. And probably, wanted to send me to heaven already. But naah, no thanks. I'm still alive though. But holy shit my legs are hurt--- really bad. I really wanted to pass out right now because I don't want to witness the crimson blood coming out from my now-useless-legs.
I hate blood! I really, really hate blood! Like hate, hate blood! I would rather eat shit than seeing blood splattered everywhere.
Suddenly, a mysterious man came out from the car that hit me. But I could barely see his face because of the car's light spotted on me. And also because I think I'm going to pass out already.
Yay!
Woohoo!
Oh. Wait. No. No! No! No! No! Does this mean I'm going to sleep in this very street? No, no, no, no, nooooooooo!
