Ally
After I ran away from my stepfather, I have been sleeping on streets lately, begging for money to buy some food, and sometimes attempt to just steal them.
My father once told me that whatever circumstances I'm in, I shouldn't do anything foolish. I must choose my actions wisely and think before I act.
He has been a great father to me, and there's no way I'm going to do something foolish to disappoint him.
"There, there. Don't cry. Ssssshhh." Someone just suddenly tries to coo me, as I continue to cry remembering how great my life was. And now, it seems like a messed up dream.
"Why are you here little girl? Where are your parents?" The old beautiful lady asked.
I shrugged. Didn't know what to answer. She took off her coat, "Here." and gave it to me. "I -it's okay." I refused."No, just take it." She insisted and I just nodded.
"Are you hungry?" I nodded and gave her a light smile.
"Come with me." I gave her a 'stranger danger' look. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you." I sighed in defeat and followed her.
We took a bus to her said 'cabin'. When we arrived at the next bus stop, we got out of the bus, "My cabin is just a few blocks away from here. We could just walk if you're comfortable with it." She smiled, wonder in her eyes.
"Yes, it's okay." I gave her a reassuring smile.
Finally, we were standing in front of a big, big mansion. "We're here." She declared, as I remained in the state of shock. Is this what she call a cabin? Whoa! This is the biggest cabin I ever saw.
When she opened the front porch, a boy at my age (I'm a teenager by the way) ran to her and hugged her. "Grandma! I missed you so much!" Awww, his cute. I mean this is cute.
"Jey-jey this is uh -" she gave me a 'what's your name look'. "I -uh, I'm Ally." I say still stuttering, nervous being with some people I don't even know. But still, I offered my hand for a handshake, but I was shocked when he just hugged me instead of shaking hands.
We pulled back from the hug, "Heh, sorry I'm a hugger." A tint of pink and a small smile finds its way to his face.
"It's okay, I like hugs." I returned the heart whelming smile.
"From now on, you'll stay here. And you can call me 'grandma'. Is that clear?" She gave me a warm and a thumbs up.
I returned a thumbs up too, "Yes, grandma." I smiled.

I woke up from the sound of my annoying phone, someone's calling. I half-opened my eyes and looked at the screen, Mat's name is flashing. What does this fucktard want now?
Without having seconds thoughts, I answered the call to clear to him that I don't want any of his shit anymore.
"What?" I huffed.
"Someone called me today and-"
I cut him off, other than that's my thing, I wanted him to be straight to the point. "Be straight to the point you bastard!" I yelled.
"Okay, geez. Hold your horses Winfeild. Your grandma died." He informed me.
What??
No!
This should be a prank. This couldn't be true.
She was the only one to comfort me when I had no one left.
