Ally
It has been 3 weeks since the last time we communicated. After I said that I'll text him after I unpack, I never did. I kind of forgot about texting him back, oops my bad. But after that, I never had the confidence to text him again. I still think it's kinda awkward for both of us. I mean, we still don't know each other that much yet. And I know it sounds strange, but I kinda miss him.
A sudden knock on the door snapped me out from my train of thoughts.
"Just a second!" I yelled, as I jumped out of the bed, wore my slippers and opened the door.
"Hel-" I cut myself off when I saw that no one was there. There was a medium sized box sitting in front of my door. Who could've left it here? Is it really for me? Or it must've been the mail man who put it here by mistake?
I picked up the box for me to look closer. Gosh I have such a poor eyesight. It has a piece of paper taped unto it, and it says 'To my new neighbor Allison. I hope you love my tiny gift!'.
What if it's a bomb?
"Arf! Arf!" I accidentally dropped the box when I heard the barking. Geez, I drink too much coffee. Oh wait. I don't drink coffee.
"What the hell?" I cursed. I mean why in the world would a stranger give me a dog. I swear to God, I hate dogs. I hate, hate dogs. They just poop everywhere and you have to fucking clean it everytime.
What the heck. I don't want too much stress. I'm already in stress right now. I'm not ready for this. And I will never be. I swear, I never have loved dogs. And never will. No offense to all dog lovers out there.
I groaned as I picked up the box again, bringing it inside my apartment. I couldn't resist the urge of helping this little fella even though I don't like dogs.
I mean, I couldn't stand seeing living things in pain. I couldn't even murder a fucking ant. I just can't. Even though they bite you, nah I can't. I don't know why.
I sat on the floor of my apartment with the box. As I opened it gently, the dog continues to bark.
"Arf! Arf! Arf!" Ugh, annoying.
When I finally opened the box, the dog jumped out, ran towards me and licked my face causing me to fall unto the floor.
"Ew! Ew! Ew!" I blocked the continuous licking of the dog with my hand to stop it from licking me. Oh great. Now I have dog saliva all over my hand.
Thank goodness the dog finally stopped licking. "Whoa! Whoa! What are you doing? Hey! Hey! No! No! Bad dog! Bad d-" Before I could even finish my damn sentence the dog finally popped all over the floor.
"Ugh! Gosh damn it! You stupid dog! Ugh!" I groaned, walking towards the bathroom to get some cleaning supplies.
I had no other choice but to clean the stupid poop. Damn it! If I'll find whoever left this dog, I'll kill that person! Ugh!
I was in the middle of cleaning the poop when a sudden knock startled me. Gosh! What's with people these days? They tend to get a person nervous.
"If that's another dog again, I swear to God I will kill you!" I shouted, as I make my way to the door.
"Hi Allison! I'm your neighbor, Lisa." A very pretty, short girl stood in front of my door, grinning widely, and is sticking her hands out for a hand shake.
"Eeh, hi?" I retorted, well kinda sounded more like a question though. I really have a weird feeling about this. It has just been 3 weeks since I moved into this building. And I was kind of an antisocial these past 3 weeks, so why would some random stranger give me a gift, and possibly know my name in just a short period of time. When all I did was do paintings for Gina for this building and then never had the chance to mingle with every person in this building.
