Ally

After the lady in charge gave me my order of assorted doughnuts, I hurriedly left the shop and made my way to Lisa.

She was sitting on one of the benches on the pavement and tied Sparky's leash to the post beside the bench.

"Hi!" I greeted her with a big grin plastered on my face. She didn't budge.

I cleared my throat, "Uh I got the doughnuts." I announced, waving the boxes of doughnuts in the air. Again, she didn't budge. "Lisa?" I called.

She sniffled and wiped the tears that were coming out from her eyes. She cocked her head and faced me.

"Oh, uh didn't see you there." She finally answered, giving me a weak smile.

"Well maybe because your thoughts weren't so focused into this world.." I murmured.

"What?" She asked.

I walked closer to her and sat beside her, placing the boxes of doughnuts on my lap.

"W-were you crying?" I stammered.

"Uh, n-no. I-I wasn't. See?" She widened her eyes and grinned widely, "No tears."

"Oh c'mon Lisa, I know you. You don't just space out like that." I crossed my arms over my chest and managed to fake a serious look.

She gave me an unsure look and I felt like she was going to cry again, observing on her now slight watery eyes.

I grabbed her hands gently and gave it a reassuring squeeze, "Wanna talk about it?" I asked and gave her a sympathetic smile.

I let go of Lisa's hands. She blinked the tears that were almost going to fall and returned a smile too.

"Don't give me that look." She uttered, furrowing her brow.

I chuckled, "What look?" I fake scowled, "This??" I stuck out my tongue and did the piggy nose.

She bursts into laughter, "Now there's the Lisa that I know, young and happy." I smirked.

"Let's get going, shall we?" She stood up from the bench and untied Sparky and picked her up.

"But wh-"

Before I could even finish my sentence, she immediately headed towards the car. It seemed like she didn't want to talk about why she was crying awhile ago. So I just let it go and decided not to bug her about it and made my way to the car.

We stopped by the cafe that I would usually go sometimes. I ordered tea, as usual and Lisa just ordered a caramel latte. Then we proceeded to the to park as planned.

There were no parking lots at the park so we had no other choice but to buy some sweets from the candy shop near the park so we could park freely in their parking lot because it freaking says exclusive parking for customers only.

I secured to lock the car before we go because you may never know what could possibly happen. While we were on our way to the park, Lisa was just so silent. It was like she wasn't her full self today. I decided to give her space and thought about different things.

"Lisa?" I muttered.

"Mmm?" She mumbled.

"We're here." She didn't budge. "Lisa?" I uttered. I placed the doughnuts on the bench beside us. I put my hand on Lisa's shoulder and used my other hand to hold her chin and lifted it up to focus her gaze on me.

(A/N: Allison is not a lesbian..)

"Lisa what's wrong?" I asked for the hundredth time. I looked straight into her eyes as it began to water.
