Moving part four

Hey guys, so. in this story, you're gonna learn a lot about me. but whatever. It's ok. and sorry again for not posting for a long time. i've been having some problems with my life. AND THANK U SOOO MUCH FOR 1.8k READSSSSSSSSS!!! so yeah. anyways. here's part four!

Flashback:

Sophie rounded the corner and bumped into someone.

Crap, it was Keefe.

"Haha looks like Selena's not only a nerd, but a klutz too!"

Tears brimmed Sophie's eyes as she tried to pick up her books. "That's not my name" she mumbled.

"What was that?" Keefe, Fitz and Biana laughed. "Did the little cry baby just stand up to me and tell me that 'that wasn't her name?'"

"You'd better think twice about what you say to us nerd!" Biana laughed and punched Sophie's right eye.

A rebellious tear streaked down Sophie's face as she came face to face with all three. "You guys, I'm not in the mood right now and I'd like if you wouldn't do this to me today."

"Hah! You really think that we'd give you a free day?!" Fitz grinned

"Yeah, you having a bad day just makes everything much more fun!" Biana giggled

"Watch out Sophia!" Keefe kicked her and laughed. "That's what you get for bumping into me!"

Present:

Wind whipped through Sophie's hair as we sped down the road. I didn't have another bike and the movers took Sophie's one that day so we decided to go on my motorcycle! We drove for a few minutes, every so often slowing down because she would stick her hands up in the air without telling me. When we started to go off-roading Sophie grabbed my waist and hugged me tightly, laying her head on my back. I could feel a blush creeping up on my face

"Keefe?"

"Yeah Foster?" I kept my eyes on the road.

"Can we stop?" I could hear her voice getting sleepy

"Sure let me just find a good place to stop." So I drove up a hill and we got off there. Sophie's face was a little pink, but I could tell she was trying to hide with her hair, so I didn't say anything.

"OH LOOK!" Sophie pointed to something hanging on the tree "It's a swing!"

She ran up to it and started swinging herself. Her gold hair rose and fell with every time she shot forward.

"You're not as hardcore at I thought you were!"

She laughed. "Yeah well everyone needs to put on a brave face once in a while. Or pretend like everything's ok so they don't make matters worse. Like, for example. Everyday, every single cruddy day that makes me closer to leaving, makes me realize how angry I am. But so that my parents find out, I joke. I pretend to be happy. and... I lie to myself. I tell myself that everything's going to be alright."

"Sophie?"

"Yeah? Wait why'd you use my first name?" she slowed down

"Nothing... I was just wondering if you wanted to continue the game of truth or dare...?"

"Oh." disappointment hinted in her voice. "Sure" she got off the swing and sat down on the grass.

"Ok Foster! Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"What happened between you and Valin?" I smirked

Sophie:

"What happened between you and Valin?" Keefe's face was all smirk.

I fell backwards, clamped a hand around my mouth, and tried not to smile. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!" a giggle slipped from my lips.

"Come on Foster! The whole world knows you know what I'm talking about!" He shoved me playfully.

"Please Keefeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Anything but that!" I was hysterically laughing on the ground for no reason. The "thing" between valin and I isn't even really funny. It's super sad. Like... SUPER SAD AND DEPRESSING. But the fact that Keefe has ABSOLUTELY NO place in my love life,( whether he wants to know things or If I get a crush on him.) and that he wants to know what happened to me and Valin, just cracks me up.

"Why," he grinned evilly "Because you like someone else now?" He wiggled his eyebrows laughing while I blushed.

"Please. Just no."

"Ok," His face turned dead serious "What's the real reason you guys are moving?"

I could feel the blood drain from my face. "I-it. It's because my da-" I tried a tiny smile

"Foster don't lie to me."

"I-I'm not!" I shot upright, fists clenched. The world darkened as I realized I stood up to fast. The lack of sleep making the world black for a minute.

"Yes. Yes you are. Amy told me what's happening."

"NO SHE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING". tears welled up in my eyes

"Foster. I didn't mean. I'm sorry." Keefe sounded so guilty and upset.

"Can I please go back to the Valin one?"

"No."

"Whyyyyyy"

"Sophie, I really want to know."

We stayed like that, for a few minutes. Just standing there. Me remembering everything that happened between Valin and I. And Keefe trying to figure out what was wrong.

Keefe:

"The reason we're moving is because of me." she whispered. "Happy?! It's all my fault! I hate it here. I wanted to leave. I NEEDED to leave." I looked at her and she was so distraught. I could tell she wasn't sleeping very well, she had bags under her eyes and her sparkle disappeared. But it couldn't be true. It can't just be her fault.

"W-what do you mean?"

She turned away and whispered "that wasn't part of the truth. You only asked why. So now It's your turn!"

"No! Sophie! You just told me that you hate it here and then you said... you wanted to leave... if you hate it here, then why is wanted in past tense?"

"NO!"

I just stared at her. How could she go on like this? Having such a big burden but pretending like everything's ok!?

"Foster,"

"Truth or dare" Sophie's eyes were daggers.

"I didn't-"

"Truth. Or. Dare!?"

"Truth."

"Ok." She turned around and asked "Why'd you do it?"

I had a sinking feeling. But I still asked. "What do you mean?"

She turned around to face me and her walls faltered "Why'd you bully me.?"

"I-" Shame filled every inch of me. Of course she would ask that. -
