Okie u guys!!!! thanks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Much for the 2.3k reads!!! I love writing (tho my past self my suggest otherwise) and I have so much fun doing this! thank you for reading this super long thing that took FOREVER to make... so yeah. anyways. enjoy!

"Um... Well, Keefe. Welcome to my base. Give me a second."

"How... Why.. When did you have the time to make this?!?!?" He plopped down on a chair and started to dust some leaves off of the table.

"So... I did this by myself. Why? Um... I did this because I needed a place to go when I'd get bullied or my parents would fight. And when? I started about 2 years ago. Also, you can clearly see that I haven't been here in a while." I looked at the twigs and leaves littered around the floor, and the thin layer of dust on the table. Ugh, I have to clean up. "So," my thoughts snapped back to the present. "Snacks."

Keefe just stared blankly at me.

"Ok, so you can turn on the water sprinklers over there, and I have soap on the shelf over there!" I showed him where the knob and soap were while he quietly watched me in surprise. Not gonna lie... It felt good to brag about this place. I liked making him jealous. It's better than liking him and then move halfway across the world...

"How... Why... When..."

"You already asked that, remember?" I rolled my eyes and headed to a tree.

"YOU HAVE A TREE HOUSE?!?!?!" Keefe ran up to me and gawked at the sight of my creation.

"Well, technically I have three... But that's not the point! You need to go wash your hands while I get snacks. E.L. Fudges or Takis?"

"E.L. FUDGES FOR LIFE!!!" I laughed so hard, I almost fell out of the tree.

"So, You've finally come out of your daze!" I tossed down a container. "Ok, so there are the snacks. Do you want soda or water?" I slowly dropped another container.

"You're crazy. You know that right?" He carried the snacks to the table and sat down.

"No, I'm not." I grabbed the soap and dragged him out of the chair. He was really starting to get on my nerves now. What an annoying boy. "let's get three things straight. ok?" I turned on the water.

"First of all, You'd do the same thing if you were constantly getting bullied and having your parents fight nonstop. Secondly, You need to wash your hands! And Lastly, that's not where we sit to eat." I pointed to another tree. "There are cushions and a trash can up there.-" I stared at him staring at me.

*crunch*

"KEEFE DID YOU NOT HEAR ME?! WASH YOUR HANDS! WHY ARE YOU ALREADY EATING THE E.L. FUDGES?!?!?"

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Time Lapse <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

*awkward silence*

"Ow!" Keefe flinched.

"Hold still! This would go A LOT faster if you didn't move!" I slowly cleaned off the mud and scratches with the medical supplies I kept in the 3rd tree house. (Oh and also, I finally got to get Keefe to wash his hands.) His face was dangerously close to mine and I could feel his warm breath on my cheek. But whatever. It's not like there's anything that could ever happen between us. The cool breeze was like a lullaby that slowly rocked the branch. My face turned crimson and I reminded myself that I can't like him.

"Can't of Won't" I could hear those exact same words in my head. Amy's words. The same words that she asked me when I told her that I couldn't tell her the real reason why we were moving. My cheeks seemed to just get redder by the minute.
