Skate park, ditching, and detention! Pt.1

Hey guys! Thanks for all the reads! I'm just going to make this quick cause no one really likes reading these, but shout out to @hannahmoonlark007 for helping me with this! Also, I'm trying my hardest to make as many ask I can so pls try to be patient.

Sophie:

It's 4:50 in the morning but I didn't care. I grabbed my skateboard and stepped outside. Hair whipped all around my face and wind stung my skin as I rolled down the driveway with my black and red skateboard. I just moved into the neighborhood yesterday, and was already trying to find a skate park. Leaving all the "fun" unpacking to my parents. After 10 minutes of looking, I stopped at the side of the road and checked my phone going to google maps and rolled my eyes. The nearest skate park was half a mile away. "I moved to a dumb neighborhood, with dumb people who don't know how to put multiple dumb skate rinks in one small town."  I mumbled, already starting down the road.

Keefe:

Ughhhhh. It's already 4:40, and I haven't slept at all!!!  At least I'm rocking some awesome bedhead! But I might as well get ready for the day... I groaned while trying, (and failing,)  to sit up. Insomnia finally kicked in and I flopped back down. While staring up at my blank ceiling, a sudden urge to go to the skateboard park filled my brain. I sat up again, leaning my head on the wall while I check my phone.

I really don't want to check anything right now. Especially since a lot of those are from my dad. All I wanted to do is get to the skate park. So I threw a baggy shirt on with jeans, ruffled my (AWESOMELY STUNNING) hair, put my shoes on got my skateboard, and headed out the door. But what I saw totally baffled me, a cute blonde girl with a black and red skateboard was checking her phone on the other side of the road. She looked about his age but he couldn't recall anyone that looked even the slightest bit like her. She must be new. But before I could get to the bottom step, she angrily mumbled something under her breath and took off. 

Sophie:

Why is this kid following me?! Good grief. I was almost at the park but this kid was so annoyinggggg. So I stopped in the middle of my tracks and whipped around. But thankfully this was definitely NOT what I was expecting. What I was expecting was a little kid or a nerd that happened to be good at skateboarding. But no, this wasn't a kid it all! This boy had artfully styled hair, a body built like a athlete, ice blue eyes. But his eyes were not like everyone else's, it was guarded by a wall of jokes and humor, surrounding all of his insecurities and pain.

"like the view?" He smirked 

It took me a few seconds to realize I was staring, but then I frowned and started blushing madly. 

"Ugh" I said bitterly, rolling my eyes. "You really think that I would be interested in you?"

He scoffed at me, pretending to be offended when he teased "Well yah! Do you not think I look good?"

"Be quiet" I said with annoyance, unfortunately a small smile started tugging at my lips. So I frowned and was kinda rude when I asked  "Why were you even following me?"

"Geez, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!" he sneered

"Yah, cause it's totally not like your parent's decided to move you halfway across the country!" I snapped.

Keefe:

After following the girl for a little bit she must have noticed I was following her because she just stopped and whipped around...

She had silky blonde hair, pink cheeks. And her eyes... She had beautiful brown eyes. She had the same type of grieving eyes that I see in the mirror each day. The same type of eyes that put up a wall of anger to hide shame, and pain...

Anyways, she looked like she was checking me out, I could feel my trademark smirk making it's way onto my face. But then she was looking to my eyes, but it wasn't like everyone else. It felt like she was seeing past all of laughter and jokes. Without thinking the words escaped my mouth. "like the view?"

She looked stunned a bit. "Ugh" she scoffed rolling her eyes. "You really think that I would be interested in you?"

Out of habit I scoffed and pretended to be offended when I joked, "Well yah! Do you not think I look good?" 

"Be quiet" She said in annoyance, with a smile tugging at her lips. I was just thinking that It felt good to make her smile. But just as her smile came, it left when she asked, "Why were you even following me?"

"Wait wha-" but before I could finish, she had already ran away and turned a corner. I Looked down and saw her board. It was black with red wheels and with stickers all over the back...
