First up! We have the first dragons I drew when I go into this drago drawing phase.
On the left we have a nigthwing named Starfinder! She is an og character I made for a friend!
(Spoiler I draw Starfinder more then herrrr)
On the right is a seawing with - no name, personality etc. It was just a warm up - and again - no reference. Though I did use a reference for Starfinder because I wanted to get it right.

This is a Rainwing inspired off this color palette - all the artists out there - try a mood board or color palette - its really funnnn.
This is just a quick art piece though - so its got a lot of problems I didn't fix in the early stages.

My friend taught me how to do this
And its sooooo cool.
I actually make it a multiply layer and sometimes do my sketching with a color changing pencil almost! :P (I use procreate btw so it might be different depending on what software you use)
But its bacially one of those skratch off the black stuff and its rainbow underneath thing.
