Hero's POV:
Her kiss triggers something inside me, as it always does. The need to have her love, to feel completely lost in her, pushes me to put a hand on her soft hips and bring her as close as possible to me. I feel her warm breath and her mouth inches from mine. I decide to take it slow, and move on to her neck, placing a strip of wet kisses, earning a little moan of pleasure from her.
She starts to take off the velvety purple dress she's wearing but I stop her with a hand.
"Don't take it off." I put into words, and look directly at her blue-gray eyes.
I barely move away from her as I gently bend her back to make her lie down on the sofa. She stretches out her arms to tell me to come closer and I grant her wish after unbuttoning the collar of the black shirt. I lift her dress up to her waist and take her painties off her ankles. After a few seconds we boggle at the ring of the doorbell and hear a male voice saying "Honey, are you there? I forgot the keys inside the apartment, can you open the door?".
"Is that Jack?" I whisper, as she gets up and starts to get dressed.
"Yeah, that's him, he's just arrived from work. Get dressed quickly." she replies and I'm surprised by her smile on her face. But, after all, I'm glad that she doesn't take all this with spite but with humor.
A few moments later I find myself sitting on the sofa like if nothing happened, while Josephine welcomes that jerk at the door with a fake smile. I'm relieved when he doesn't kiss her right in front of me.
At the sight of the jerk who approaches me confused, I get up and shakes his hand.
"Goodmorning, Hero. I'm surprised to see you her but Josephine has often told me about you. Nice to finally meet you."
"Morning. Nice to meet you, too.".
It's definitely not nice to meet you jerk. Fuck off.
"Well, me and Hero were...having breakfast together." My love says and tries to hide another smirk on her face.
"Oh, that's why you didn't hear me, I called you several times from behind the door-" He turns and points to the door.
"Yeah... yeah, of course."- she butts in and then adds- "Well, Hero was about to go by the way...".
"True, I'm late for work actually." I reply.
"Oh, don't worry. Though, I'd love to know you better some day." He tells me cordially. I nod and go straight to the door, trying to escape the gaze of the jerk. Josephine follows me, and as he walks away from the living room, she opens the door for me.
"Bye, then." I say smiling, standing in front of her.
"Bye. I'll text you later". She winks at me and closes the door.
I remain in the hallway for a few seconds, still incredulous about what has happened.
Then, still thinking of her, I walk away from the apartment smiling.
