Even being a ghost it still hurt. Maybe more emotionally than physically but still. "Ow. What the hell?" I sat back up looking towards Willie who was looking into my eyes. I could see in his that he was sorry. He was sad and sorry.

"Oh my God. Alex. Shit. I'm- I'm so sorry. I- I had just thought you had crossed over and Caleb was playing tricks on me."

Willie pulled me up and into his embrace. More hugs. I love hugs.

After we hugged again for a moment, Willie pulled me away slowly.

"Wait. I thought you crossed over? Was the Orpheum not your "unfinished business"?"

"I guess not. Julie, she made us stronger and our stamps and jolts are gone." I smiled.

I cupped Willie's face with my hands and wiped his tears away with my thumbs.

"But I knew I'd find a way back to you. Crossing over or not." Willie and I looked into each other's eyes for a moment before I closed the distance between us. My lips on his. His lips on mine. It was everything I could ever dream of. Those sparks, I felt them. Fireworks. Fireworks everywhere.

I slowly pulled away, letting the kiss linger.

"I've been waiting for this moment," Willie said as he giggled.

"Me too. I just didn't know if you were into me like that or if I was going to be able to stay here... with you."

Willie smiled. "Well, you're here now and that's all that matters."

I pulled Willie in for a hug. I breathed in the scent that was uniquely his. I felt him shiver a bit. He was only wearing a shirt and shorts and it was a bit cold.

"Come here." I pulled my hoodie off and handed it to him.

"Aww. Your hoodie. Thank you, hot dog."

"Well, you were cold and I'd be a bad boyfriend if I didn't give you my hoodie."

Willie looked at me with the biggest grin on his face. "Boyfriend?"

"Uh... I- I mean unless you wanna not be- we- I..." I stumbled across my words.

Willie pushed another kiss onto my flustered lips. "Yes. I want to be your boyfriend."

A wave of relief flooded over me. I was now smiling like an idiot.

"Um..." I pursed my lips. "Would you like to come by the studio tomorrow? We aren't practicing since we just played the Orpheum so it can just be you and I and I can play something for you if you'd like."

"I'd like that." Willie's smile was enough to sweep me off my feet. God, he's gorgeous.

"I'll see you tomorrow then? Around one?"

"Yes."

"Okay," I can't stop smiling and neither can Willie. My cheeks are starting to hurt. I gave Willie a goodbye kiss then poofed back to the studio.

When I got back, Reggie was asleep on the couch but I didn't see Luke or Julie. I climbed up the ladder to the loft and Luke was sitting up there.

He gasped. "You're back! How'd it go with Willie?"

I couldn't help a smile creep up on my face. "It- it was so good! I accidently called him my boyfriend and got super anxious but he reassured me that it was okay and that he'd like us to be boyfriends."

"That's really great, Alex! I'm really happy for you." Luke was smiling but I could see in his eyes he still misses me a little. But he has Julie now, right?

"Are you sure?"

"About what?"

"Are you sure you're happy for me?" He pursed his lips. "A- are you sure that you're over... over me? I mean when we were bowing at the end of our performance no one was holding hands yet we were."

"You just seemed anxious. Okay?" Luke rubbed his face. "Plus I have Julie, right? I'm sorry if you were making you feel like I was still hung up on you. I mean that was years ago. We- we both agreed we were better off friends. It's fine! I'm seriously happy for you! Come here," Luke pulled me into a hug. "Now I..." He stood up. "Am going to get some sleep."

"Good night." I sighed.

"'Night." He climbed down the ladder.

I went and laid in the bed I had made up of pillows and blankets we had up in the loft. It was the same bed I slept in when I got kicked out by my parents when I had come out. We had moved a mattress up there but sometimes I just felt like sleeping on the floor. Tonight I just couldn't sleep. I kept tossing and turning, not able to fall asleep. I guess I was too excited but also my anxiety was taking over my thoughts per usual.

I finally fell asleep and woke up with the boys and Julie standing around me.
"What the heck are you guys doing? Did someone die? Why are y'all congregating around me while I'm sleeping?" I laid my arm over my eyes, shielding them from the bright light that was flooding in through the windows.

"We just wanted to make sure you were okay, man." Luke said.

"Yeah. You never sleep in this late." Reggie added.

I sat up in a startled way. "What time is it?"

Julie looked down at her watch. "Twelve o'clock."

"Shit. Shit. Shi-" I scrambled out from under the covers.

"Language." Julie raised her voice.

"Sorry. I- I told Willie he could come over tomorrow because we weren't practicing and I don't have anything ready and- and I- I can't breathe."

Luke came to my side. "Alex," He said firmly, rubbing my back. "Breathe. In through your nose, out through your mouth."

I did as he said, trying to steady my breaths. Once I steadied my breathing, everyone got down from the loft and I changed my clothes. I climbed down too and started pacing.

"Alex," Julie walked over to me, reaching up and grabbing my shoulders. "You need to stop panicking. Did things work out with Willie."

I nodded quickly, smiling recalling the events from last night.

"Then you have nothing to worry about. If he really likes you then he won't care that you woke up late or that you don't have everything prepared that you need."

I nodded, wiping the tears from my face. "I- I don't know what I was thinking," I gave Julie a hug. "Thanks, Jules."

"Of course. Now you have a date to prepare for so we are going to leave you to it."

"I love you guys!" I yelled as they walked out the door.

"Love you too!" They yelled back in unison.

As soon as they left I hurried, trying to fix up everything for our date.
