"Let's play truth or dare and revive this party!", Kayra suggested, looking at her girl gang with puppy eyes.

"Dude, we're not kids besides your brother's going to get really mad," Nisha Bhabhi popped in.

"Let's just play na? Please?" And everyone complied. The first few rounds went by with basic stuff like 'take a shot' (seems pretty easy for the ladies), 'flirt with a waiter' (Not too bad) and so on before landing on Nidhi. Soon everyone started thinking of various dares, but nothing fit until someone walked into the ballroom.

"Jackpot!" The girls whisper-screamed.

Golden lights bounced as the crystal chandeliers shone in brightness, filling every inch of the ballroom with brilliance. A faint cool breeze whispered into the room, and the leaves of the old banyan tree rustled as its branches peeked in from the adorned patio and the fragrance of Bakula flowers engulfed the air.

A soft buzzing filled the air as guests gathered for the festivities, and as the Dixits and Roys arrived at the venue, they couldn't help but be in awe of the vicinity. Festive drapes hung high along with Turkish lighting behind booths, housekeeping the delights of the night, as waiters dressed in dapper and uniform kurta-pajamas paced around carrying trays of amuse-bouches, from kebabs, cocktail samosas, drinks, chaats etc.

Soon the families started mingling amidst the crowds, greeting various other guests. But Aaradhya, Nidhi and Samaira seemed perturbed. Where in the world were the hosts of the party? But at such a dignified party, doing so was no easy task for there were constant disturbances. . .


"Arrey, you both have grown so big, humein pehchana?"


"Uff, acha tum dono ke koi shaadi waadi ke plans hain bhi? Main ladke dhoondhun?"


And many such tiring questions came in front of them, so their only response was "Ji haan" , "Ji nahin" respectively, paired with overly honey-dripping-sweet smiles. Of course, How could they not? They were asked to stay low. To be quiet. To obey and to not rebel. And most of all, to listen, without walking away.


All this while, Samaira kept giggling at her sisters whose faces were contorted into hilarious forms.


"Han han bachu, keep laughing! You're having so much fun na?" Nidhi's voice was laced with sarcasm and annoyance, only to cause Samaira to laugh harder. Aaradhya chuckled and dragged them to the drinks counter for some refreshments when they overheard,
