Joel's POV
Drunk Amanda is very hyperactive. She can't stay still. Jasmine and I are planning to hide her upstairs before Mom comes home. If she finds Amanda in this state, I'm dead.
So right now, Amanda is in Jace's room. She almost destroyed his PS4 but Jasmine stopped her just in time.
"Joel! I want to fly!" Amanda shouted from the balcony. And she's delusional too.
I shared a look of frustration with Jasmine. Just then, we heard someone coming. Jasmine looked at me with panic on her face.
"Do you think that could be Mom?" She whispered. I shrugged. "I really hope not." I scanned the living room. It was a total mess.
"What the hell is going on here?!" Oh it's Jace. Jasmine and I turned around slowly.
"Hey Jace." Jasmine said timidly. He's jaw was open and he pointed to something behind us.
"Jace!!" Amanda stumbled towards him and hugged him.
He sniffed her. "Why the hell is she drunk? What did you do, Joel?" He dropped her on the couch but she bounced back up and jumped on him.
"I didn't do anything." I grabbed Amanda from him. He pinched the bridge of his nose; something he does when he's stressed.
"How long has she been drunk?" He asked. "Almost two hours or so." I replied.
"She has to sleep it out. It's gonna be hard for us to force her to shower."
Jasmine looked at her phone and she paled. "Mom just texted me. She's gonna be home any minute from home."
"Umm... You to put the living room in order. I'll take Amanda upstairs. Maybe lock her in my closet." With that, Jasmine and I got to work while Jace carried a very jumpy Amanda upstairs.
It took us less than ten minutes to put everything in place. As if luck was on our side, Mom just strolled into the house.
"Hey Mom!" Jasmine and I said in unison. Jace came down the stairs looking disheveled.
He must have had a hard time hiding her.
He looked surprised to see Mom here. "H-hey Mom."
Mom looked at us weirdly. "Why are you guys acting weirdly. Did anything happen?" She looked at Jasmine. "Jasmine, is there anything that you aren't telling me?"
Jasmine was sweating. "Uh..what? No Mom!" Mom didn't push on. She just walked to the kitchen.
Thankfully, Jacob and Joseph weren't here to snitch. They're at my Aunt's place.
We all let out breaths we were holding. "That was close."
"Do you think she's okay?" Jasmine asked, worried. Jace nodded. "She won't be out anytime soon. Hopefully."

It's been an hour since Mom came home and Amanda is still locked in the closet.
Jace, Jasmine and I are in Jace's room. He tried her but we can still hear her rustling.
"Why isn't she asleep yet?" Jasmine whined. Jace looked calm about this now.
"I'm hungry. I'm gonna grab something real quick." Jasmine left for the kitchen.
She took longer than usual. We were waiting for her to return. Then she returned finally;but this time with tears in her eyes. Jace shot up from the bed and I stood up from the chair I was sitting on.
She was sobbing quietly. "Jasmine? What's wrong?" Jace was concerned.
"Mom...woman... downstairs....Dad." she sobbed into Jace's shirt. When she said dad, I looked at Jace.
Oh God.
We rushed out the room but Mom brushed passed us, in tears.
We arrived at the living room. I was boiling at what I saw. My dad was relaxing on the couch with a girl. She looked like she was 17 or 18 years old. The sight was disgusting.
He acknowledged our presence. He smiled. "Oh. Hey Joel and Jace."
The nerve of this man.
"What is she doing here?" I asked, trying really hard to punch this man.
"What do you mean by that? Meet Dianne." He introduced. I looked at Dianne with disgust. She looked like she wanted to eat me.
I rubbed my forehead in annoyance. "Why? Why are you doing thi-" I was cut off by a loud laugh.
Awh. C'mon!
Amanda came stumbling down the stairs. She stood beside me and wrapped her arms around me. I'll have to admit, it felt nice but now is not the right time for this shit.
"Joel! I've missed you. Where have you been?" She smiled sweetly at me.
"How did you get out?" Jace asked, amused. She rolled her eyes. "There's something called a bobby pin." She held a bobby pin between her fingers.
"Why is she here?" My dad asked. Amanda looked at him; then at the young girl beside him.
Her eyebrows furrowed and her lips in a small frown. "What is she doing here?" She looked at Jace. "Is she one of his sluts?"
The slut gasped. My dad looked super angry. Amanda looked at the girl. "Do you know he's a married man? He's married. With five kids." She went on rambling about what an unfaithful man my dad is. "This isn't cool Richard Reed. You have a crying wife upstairs and you're here, with a girl. So not cool." She shook her head after she just scolded my dad.
My dad was gapping like a fish. Amanda looked at Dianne. "Come with me." She had a goofy smile on her face. Dianne looked hesitant it she went anyway. Amanda almost tripped but I caught her. They went to the kitchen; Dianne holding Amanda.
Jace was quiet and I was glaring at my dad. Silence filled the room for some minutes.
"I can't believe you brought her here. Also, why is she drunk?!" Dad shouted.
"I can't believe you brought her here. Why are you doing this to mom?" I shot back.
"Joel, just mind your business. It's not your marriage and you know nothing about marriage."
"Damn. You don't have a single good bone in your body. You disgust me." Jace finally spoke out." Dad looked like he was gonna explode.
Amanda walked I with Dianne. She was smiling widely and Dianne had a little smile on her face.
"I'll be going now," Dianne told us. She turned to my dad. "Don't you ever call me again. Bye Amanda." With that, Dianne walked out.
"You! You caused all this!" Dad pointed his finger at Amanda.
"Me? What did I do?" She asked innocently then giggled. "Joel, I'm sleepy. Take me to bed." She whined.
I have my dad one last hard look then led Amanda to my room. "Wait! I need to change." She shouted.
I gave her one of my shirts to wear for the night. She mumbled a 'thank you' before she walked to the bathroom.
She came out and the shirt reached the middle of her thighs. She held her clothes in her hands.
Cute.
She giggled. "Thanks. I know I'm cute." I realized I said that out loud. I cursed under my breath. I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and walked to the bathroom to take a shower.
After showering, I found Amanda asleep, snoring lightly on my bed. I have no idea why that's a huge turn on for me.
I laid down on the bed beside her, keeping space between us. I kept thinking about all that happened today. Then I slipped into a dreamless sleep.
