*Johnny's Point Of View*
I am exhausted!
We've been in practice all day, filming all week, interviews, 5 am mornings and 3am sleep times. Breaks, barely! And on top of that, we have to workout which isn't just tiring out my body, but also causing more pain because we have to dance on top of that muscle pain.
I just want to sleep! Of course, we can't because all SM artist have been called into a meeting because some important information that he wants all of us to know.
"As you all know, the Kim family has lost their only daughter earlier this week." We all nod our heads. You live in Korea, you must know the Kim Family. They own almost every building in Korea and if they don't own it, they represent it legally. They are the people you can't piss off.
So this death is very important to Korea.
"There is a rumor that she has a daughter that is currently in Korea."
A daughter? We never seen her with her daughter or Mrs. Kim with her granddaughter. It was always the three of them. Never four.
"If this is true, she's around the age of her early to mid twenties. With that being said, everyone, we must get in the good graces of the Kim's."
Another rumor is that the Kim's are adding two new Entertainment companies to their roaster. Right now, they only represent BigHit because of a reason we don't know. With our company, we really need to be represented because there is always something going on.
"After her daughter's funeral, they will be holding a party. I believe that is where they are going to announce the new heir to the company. I need everyone who is attending to be on their best behavior. As soon as you get a chance, you see her, talk to her!"
I'm so glad that I'm not going. A few members are going. I know Taeyong is going as the leader of NCT, Mark because they never give him a break, Kun, Win Win, Jisumg and Jeno. If there is anyone else, that will be a shocker to me.
"As for everyone else, just focus on producing the best of your abilities and try not to get in trouble. Alright? Alright!"
Everyone stands up, clapping. I'm just excited to go home. The first thing I'm doing is adding heat to my shower to bless my aching body. Straight after, I'm going to my bed! The night is over for me.
I don't want to do anything extra right now. All I know is that I'm not doing anything above my pay grade.
That event is above my pay grade. But you know what isn't?
Sleep!
*Olivia's Point Of View*
Today is my Mom's funeral. I'm sad but not as sad as I should be. I have no memories with her to be crying and hysterical. All I can do is present.
So that's what I'm doing. Being present as they talk about what a great woman my mother was and she was loved by many. I guess I didn't need to be one of those people.
I don't get to talk to anyone about how I know the deceased. All comments are all made towards my grandparents and short glances towards me as I stand there silently.
That was until this one gentleman came up. I forgot what his name was but he runs an entertainment company.
"Ah, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, I'm so sorry about your daughter. She was really something special."
"Yes she was. She was very fond of some of your artist. She said some of the music really spoke to her."
My mom liked his people's music? Do we like the same artist?
"I appreciate that! They worked really hard and I'm proud of them." And that moment, his eyes on pan over to me. "And who is this?"
My grandmother looks at me then back at the guy speaking. "This is my granddaughter. This is her mother's funeral."
"Oh! I'm sorry to you."
I nod, showing my thinks. What can I say? I never know what people are supposed to say when things like this. I'm sending my condolences but what does that do? That only makes me want to cry more.
"Well," he turns back towards my grandmother, "I would like to give you one of my boys as her date for your event."
The event to show people that I exist and that I will be taking over the company when my grandparents pass away. But what were they going to do when they do pass? It would still go to me. My mom would have passed it down to me.
"Oh, we would like that. Get her used to being around people in Korea. Thank you."
Great, now I have a date with a stranger. Next thing you know, I'm getting married to a stranger. I just need to break away from this. Luckily, two other men come up and I excuse myself.
Where is the bathroom here?
"Hello?"
"Olivia?"
"This is she. May I ask who is speaking?"
"Don't act like you don't know who this is?"
Who the hell is calling my phone with such an attitude? I pull my phone away from my face. The number is t saved so I genuinely don't know who this is.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not acting at all." The only thing I know is that they are from America. Has to be someone related to the human I should legally call my father.
"This is your Aunt Terri."
Aunt Terri? I don't know any Terri.
"I'm going to pretend I know who you are. How my I help you?"
"Don't try to act all proper now! Just because you're with your bougie ass white side of the family doesn't mean you have to be fake."
Who is she calling fake? This bitch doesn't know I have an attitude that will make Satan correct his ways.
"First of all, they are Asian. Second of all-"
"I don't care what they are! You need to get your ass back here as soon as possible."
"Don't cut me off. Second of all, I'm at my mother's funeral so the only place I'll be going is inside to thank everyone for coming. Third, what's so important that I need to go back to America?"
"You are just as rude as your father says."
"Cool! Now what is the problem?"
She scoffs before finally telling me what the problem is. "Your dad is in jail and you need to come bail him out."
