Today is my first day going to the office and honestly I'm nervous. My Grandparents have set up a breakfast this morning to meet the Park family. Unfortunately, I have met their daughter at the banquet a few days ago. I'm going to say it was a big misunderstanding in order to keep the peace between my grandmother and I.

Lord knows I cannot ruin that.

"Jangmi- ah! Let's go."

Quickly, I grab my bag before rushing out the room.

"We don't want to be late. Your grandparents are already there."

"Why are they there so early," I ask Yu-Jun.

"Oh! Your grandmother must watch them all make the food to make sure that they don't try to poison her and to make sure that it taste good."

All that extra work for what? I guess with power, there are people who try to kill you. I guess there must be a few targets on my back.

"Alright! Well, I'm ready to go."

We drive to the restaurant to see that I still made it before the Park family got here. I sat next to my grandfather who was reading his newspaper. There must be five members in the Park family because there are eight chairs and we take up three.

After a while, my Grandmother comes out. "Good! You're here. I thought you were going to be late."

"Ah, yes. I am here."

"You should become friends with the Park daughters, especially the eldest one. She will be the one taking over the company."

"Yes, ma'am."

Just as she was about to open her mouth again, the door opens. Mr. Park and the rest of his family walks in. My grandparents stand to their feet so I follow suit.

"So we finally get to meet the infamous granddaughter," Mr. Park says as he walks closer to the table.

"Yes, you do." My Grandmother turns her attention to me. The smile on her face drops. "Go on and say hi. Don't forget your manners."

Nodding, I turn towards the Elders of the Park family, bowing 90 degrees. "Hello. My name is Kim Jang-Mi. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"It's great to meet you," Mrs. Park finally speaks. "These are our children. Park Dasom," she points out first. She's the oldest and the closest to her.

Dasom looks towards me with a bright smile and waves towards me. I wave back. I guess that was her invitation to come sit next to me. Honestly, I'm glad it's not her sister. She's been eyeing me down since she walked in here. Problems for what?

A seat! She needs to get over that.

"It will be nice to have a girl friend who is close to my age," Dasom says, grabbing hold of my arm. Normally, I don't like strangers touching me, but her bubbly personality makes it so hard to not want to be around her.

"This is my little brother, Park Hyung-Woo, and my little sister Park Gul-mi."

"We've met," Gul-mi says in a snarky tone.

"Well, I'm Park Hyung-woo as my sister said before but you can call me your future husband because you are gorgeous."

I couldn't help but laugh. His mother slaps him on the arm.

"I'm sorry. He's normally not like this."

"That's because I've never seen someone as beautiful as her before."

"Oh no! He's fine."

"See Mom! She's falling for me already. Might as well plan the wedding now." I laugh at him again. He's trying to move Dasom out of the way but she simply pushes him back.

"She's older than you and I'm pretty sure she wants nothing to do with an immature high school kid."

"Let's all take our seats and bring out the food so we can talk business, shall we," My grandpa says, looking to the other elders in the room. Everyone nods even though we know that for this part, we won't be included in this portion of the morning because they want the children to get to know each other.

Today I'm with Do Young filming two things at once.  We are filming a project for him and then we are also filming JCC. And if you don't know what that is, it is my little subsection on the NCT YouTube channel. JCC stands for Johnny's Communication Center.

It's something to take up my free days but this is something I actually enjoy so I don't mind it.

The only thing about today is that it is so cold. There is snow everywhere and my ears, nose, and hands are all red. We love snow.

"Hyung!" I turn my head toward Do Young who is shivering. I mean holding himself and shivering.

"Let's go get something to warm ourselves up. I'm freezing."

"Agreed."

Luckily, there is this coffee place near by that we can go to. I can really use some coffee.

Breakfast was weird but successful. Dasom and I really hit it off. She's so kind unlike her rude sister.

The whole time, she would try to cut me off, drop something while I did anything or just glare at me. I have never done anything to her so why does she hate me so much?

Not that I care! I've been hated on my whole life. Literally.

The weirdest thing of all was when we made it to the office and I got my first assignment.

"We are deciding between three entertainment companies which two we should chose from. SM, JYP, and YG. We already signed with BigHit entertainment so we thought we should venture more into the entertainment industry. Your job will be deciding which two companies are worth our time. The qualifications are that they have many problems. The more problems they have, the more money we make. With that being said, you must get to know the people inside company. I'm not saying make friends with them, but get to know them and their company to know if we are going to have any good future cases. So, when you aren't at the coffee shop or school, you need to be with members in either one of those companies and BigHit. We want to keep good terms with people we are already in business with. You are young so you must hang out with the young people because they are the future."
