*Johnny's Point Of View *
I'm not going to lie. My nights have gotten pretty lonely since I have stopped talking to Jang-Mi. But boy, I swear I went from never seeing her to always seeing her.
"What are you doing here?"
"Being in business that belongs to me and not you," Jang-Mi rolls her eyes, turning away from me.
"You would think she lives here now," I mumble into my coffee cup. Oh! I forgot to mention, I make my own coffee now. That other coffee house just doesn't feel right anymore and now I don't have to go too far for the love of my cup.
"You talk as if I can't hear you," she turns to me, crossing her arms.
"Oh great! Your ears work," I walk away grabbing my coffee.
"Jaehyun," she whines, walking over to him.
I don't understand this whole ordeal with her being around us all the time. I'm sure we are just an assignment to her too. So why not spend time with people from other companies?
"Hyung," Jaehyun looks my way. I throw my hands up saying that I'm just enjoying my coffee. There isn't much one can say or do about my very passive comments.
"When are we leaving? I can't wait to meet everyone."
Everyone? Are the members taking her somewhere and didn't invite me? Wow! They must be really mad about the situation between her and I.
But she said meet. She already met the members.
"I know you are! The guys are on their way, so we should be leaving soon too."
I just realized what she's wearing. It looks a little dressy compared to what she normally wears. Is she trying to impress someone?
"Why are you looking at me like that," the nuisance says. Maybe if I keep zoning out, she will just change the subject. Even though I am, I don't want her to know that I'm looking at her. So, the only way to make it seem like I'm not looking at her is to just zone out Johnny.
Just zone out. Or just keep your eyes where she was if she moves.
"Anyways," she says, moving closer to Jaehyun, "it's really important that this meeting goes well. I'm also supposed to be talking to JYP and YG members, but every time I think about it, I just say go see NCT. So I do."
"What? Are we assignments to you," I couldn't help but ask. "Is that why you are befriending our members?"
Again, she rolls her eyes, placing them on me. "My job is to look into each company not to befriend anyone. I think my grandmother would prefer it if I don't make emotional connections with anyone, but I want to have some friends too. I'm never obligated to be someone's friend. I wouldn't do that to anyone. I don't care who they are."
Wow! Something we can agree on. Well, we agree on a lot of things but still. Until she properly apologizes for what she did, and how she's acting now, we can't be friends. Can't even be associates. And that's never going to happen so we will forever be enemies I guess.
Wow! Who knew in 2019, Johnny Suh would have an enemy. Especially with someone who will have a lot of power once she finishes her schooling.
"You ready to go?"
"Yeah," she says, grabbing her bag.
"Hyung, see you later." I wave to Jaehyun. I can see a little that Jang-Mi is putting on her long boots.
Yes I'm going to call her by her name because we are not friends. What do I look like calling her Ollie? I mean I can call her Olivia. But that would seem that I care.
And I don't!
*Olivia's Point Of View*
Today, I am meeting with a few members of different companies in the 97's line today. I'm so excited. Fun fact, one of the people we are meeting today, I'm already a huge fan of. I don't know exactly who's coming to lunch today, but Jaehyun slipped up about this specific person and I'm so excited.
"How do I look?"
"You look fine. Don't worry. Just be yourself and they will love you."
I have a hard time believing that. All my life I've been myself. Coming to Korea was the first time I've ever felt a little welcomed. I don't want to get too greedy with that feeling so I must humble my mind.
"I see my favorite.....s! Is that Bang Chan from Stray Kids?" Are my eyes deceiving me? I see Bang Chan from SKZ, Bam Bam from Got7 (the one I was excited about), Jungkook from BTS, and oh my gosh! Lisa from Blackpink.
Look at that! Someone from each company. Perfect.
"We thought it would be best to bring a girl along so you didn't have to be the only girl around strange men," Bam Bam says as we approach the table.
"Everyone, this is Kim Jang-Mi, or as we call her, Ollie."
"Ollie," they all ask. I know! Where does Ollie come from Jang-Mi?
"My name is Olivia Rose when I'm in America. Here, my name is Kim Jang-Mi, or Ollie, or Rose. Whichever you prefer. And I must say, I'm a huge fan of each of you here."
"That's so sweet," Chan says, pulling out my chair for me. I thank him before sitting down.
"I tried to keep it a surprise as to who was showing up today, but I slipped up a bit and said Bam Bam was going to be here. You don't know how many times I have heard about you since she found out."
Politely, I grab Jaehyun telling him to cut it out. You never tell about fangirl or fanboy moments. Especially not the the person they are fanning over.
"No need to be nervous. I think it's cute!"
Oh my gosh! Bam Bam from Got7 just said that I'm cute. Well, my fangirling is cute but still.
"So, what do you want us to call you," Lisa asks.
"You can call me Ollie."
"Tell us about yourself. We've been dying to meet the hidden Granddaughter," Jungkook says.
"How about we order first and then we can let her answer your questions. Okay?" Jaehyun puts his arm around me, giving a slight squeeze to make sure I'm alright. I give him a nod and then look around at everyone.
"What can I get you guys started with," the waiter comes up.
"I would like a Sprite."
