*Olivia's Point Of View*

I got home as quickly as possible. There wasn't anything that could stop me from knowing what the hell is going on!

Murder?

Who would murder my mother? From what I gathered, everyone loved her. Unlike my Grandparents, my mother was a ver kind, warm hearted, and caring person. So when they said she died from natural causes, I just accepted that.

But now, I want answers.

"Jang-Mi, you're here."

What is the Park family doing here? Shouldn't it just be my grandparents, myself, and the police?

Dasom runs over to me, pulling me into a hug. Not really knowing how to react, I just stand there. Everyone's eyes are on me. Why? I don't know. Maybe there is someone behind me.

Politely, I wiggle myself out of Dasom's grasp just to turn around. There isn't anyone there.

Little Miss Ray of Darkness is the only who could care less that I'm here. She's on her phone trying to find her angle for a picture. I understand this isn't about her family, but she should at least show some respect.

"Miss. Kim," grabs my attention as I look towards the sound of my name. "I'm Detective Lee. This is my partner, Detective Hwang. We are in charge of your mother's case."

"Case? I'm confused as to why there is a case for her. You guys said before that she died of natural causes."

"She did. I was there when it happened," Gul-Mi says, still looking on her phone. "She was eating and drinking, water by the way, and she just started seizing. I tried to get help, but it was too late."

The lack of empathy in her voice is really getting on my nerves right now.

"That's what we thought too. But recently, we were given a paper by the doctor who performed your mother's autopsy's wife. She's been away on a Doctor's Mission trip and when she got back, she saw a folder that said "Give to the Police."

"In there," Detective Seo continues, "it shows that your mother's seizure was caused by a poison overdose."

"What?"

"It's called diphenhydramine. It's found in common medicines but if used incorrectly, or too much, it can cause seizures which can lead to death if the person isn't medically treated in time."

"Maybe she took too much medicine," Gul-Mi says.

"Will you please stop talking? This is a family matter," I turn to her. Literally, it is taking everything out of me not to slap her. So she better sit there and shut up.

"She is family." Of course, my grandmother sides with her. Would it kill her to be on my side for once? Gosh!

"She was more my family than she was yours," Gul-Mi "mumbled" loud enough for everyone to hear. My body shift towards her, but a hand stops me. I turn around. Han-gyeol has his hand on my shoulder, shaking his head.

"Young lady," Mrs. Park yells. "That was extremely rude."

"She's only like that because she knows Olivia is better." Hyung-woo stands to his feet, walking over to me. "Don't worry babe, I'll protect you."

Under any regular circumstance, I would laugh at his silly antics, but now is not the time. I turn back to the officers.

"If what little girl over there is possible, why would you rule it as a murder?" I can see the irrelevant Park attempt to get up but her father stopped her.

"Well, your mother want on any medications that contained diphenhydramine in it. Also, when food inside her stomach was tested, it showed traces of the poison."

"So what does all of this mean," I ask.

"We are officially opening a murder investigation to see who did this to your mother. It would be best if we can talk to the doctor who did her autopsy but he is currently on a business trip for a few months according to the note he left his wife."

"Will that hold up the investigation," my grandfather asks, opening his mouth for the first time. I realized he is a very observant person. Doesn't say much, but knows more than we think.

"No but it would help it move it along quicker since he knows more about the papers given. But don't worry, we will find this person and put them behind bars."

"Even with this new piece of evidence," Gul Mi asks, "with the time passed, what can you all really do?"

As much as I hate it, she's right. I came here early February. It's now the end of June. I've been here for almost five months, which means my mother has been gone for five months, almost. When investigating a murder, time is of the essence. The first forty eight hours are the most important. And now, since they deemed it death by natural cause, they pretty much fucked up this entire case.

"We will try our best. Don't worry too much. We will do our job."

"Thank you, officers," My grandmother says. It's shocking that this whole time, she's only said five words. I mean other than the phone call, Mrs. Park has been quite. I know this has to be hard for her to hear.

"If there isn't anything else, we will take our leave first."

"I'll walk you out," I told them. There is something I want to say, but not in front of my grandparents. When we get to the door, I stop them.

"If you guys hear anything or find anything, let me know. I think it will be best if my Grandmother hears it from me."

"Will do," Officer Seo says.

"Also, I know a lot of people may have a vendetta against my grandparents, so please, can you have a patrol for them? I know that you guys say don't worry, but my Grandparents are the only family I have left."

"We will have them on twenty four hour surveillance. Don't worry Miss. Kim. We will avenge your mom."

I nod my head before letting them go out of the door.  I don't care what happens. They better find her killer before I do. Believe me when I say, it will be best for everyone.

"What do you want?" As I turned around to go join everyone else again, I see the devil herself listening in on our conversation.

"Oh nothing," she tries to walk away but I pull her back.

"Let me tell you something. I don't care who you think you are, but you will never be a Kim. Never."
