*Olivia's Point Of View*
Today my new security guard comes and I'm honestly not in the mood to meet anyone. Life is stressful as is and her coming is just a reminder.
I'm going to a casual look today because this is the first time I get to present myself to my mother since I was five. And I know most people would think, well, wouldn't you want to dress up?
I dressed up at the funeral. This is me coming to her as her daughter in my style of comfort so she can get to know me. Light makeup, my earrings , a basic tee, and some jeans. My tennis shoes are white too which may or may not be a good choice but we will see later.
I just left YG and I'm on my way to JYP to drop off the contract for Park Jin Young to look over. Once they reach an agreement, a signing party will happen. I honestly thought I was getting them to sign it today but I was informed otherwise.
"Ollie?"
I turn around, obviously because my name was called, to see a familiar face.
"Hyunjin!"
"Hey! What brings you here?" He pulls me into a hug.
"I have to drop these papers off to your CEO. Do you happen to know where I'm supposed the go? The receptionist told me where to go but I forgot," I chuckle in embarrassment.
"Sure. But right now, he's in a meeting with Channie Hyung."
"Oh! That's fine. I can wait or I can just hand it to him. I still have one more to drop off."
"Okay! Let me show you the way."
We get on the elevator and talk about Stray Kids and what they were doing for the day. Then, I made a promise to Hyunjin that the next time we are both free, I will hang out with them and make them food. That lead to him telling the boys and they already started texting suggestions. I laugh as we make it to the door.
A quick knock.
"Come in."
"Thanks Hyunjin," I say before walking inside. I really hope that Chan is still inside because I don't feel comfortable being alone with JYP. I mean I have Han-gyeol, but he's going to stand outside of the door.
"Ollie?"
"Hey, Chan."
"You two know each other," Park Jin Young asks.
"Yeah! Chan and I are friends."
"I never knew that," he says, looking between the two of us. Eventually he stops and just looks at me. "What can I do for you, Miss. Kim?"
"I just wanted to drop off the contracts for you to look over. My Grandfather said if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office."
"Will do. Are you guys hanging out today?"
What does one have to do with the other?
"No. I'm sure the boys are very busy and I have other errands. But Chan," I turn my attention away from el CEO, " the guys are deciding on a meal they want me to make. Look in your group chat. Once you guys know, let me know. It was nice seeing you guys again. If there isn't anything else, I'll leave first."
As quickly as possible, I walk out of the building. I don't know why, but when JYP said something about hanging out, I thought of Johnny. I want to know exactly what he has planned for today and I'm excited. The more I think about it, the faster I move to get to SM.
*Johnny's Point Of View *
Olivia texted me that she is on her way to SM entertainment. I didn't tell the guys about hanging out with her today because I just want it to be her and I. They all got to spend time with her, not that I'm complaining because it was my fault, and I just want to get her alone to see how I feel about her.
Get her alone sounds weird, but you know what I mean.
We are still in the defining stages of our relationship. It's best that we spend time together to figure it out. I need to understand exactly what is inside my head when she's around and when she isn't around.
Even before we reconciled our differences, there were strange thoughts or feelings I would have about Olivia.
Where is she? Is she coming over today? Why does it feel a bit lonely when she isn't here? Why do I feel better knowing that she's here? What is she doing? Who is she with? Why is she so beautiful? Those things. That's normal though.
Right?
"What are you looking at?" I jumped. Startled out of my thoughts, I turn to see Olivia standing there looking at me. This should be the part where I respond but I'm having trouble slowing my heart rate. Normal reaction for when you're scared half to death.
"Gosh, you scared me."
"Sorry! I called your name twice but you didn't answer."
I really must have been lost in thought.
"My bad."
"That's fine. Let's go get our coffee. I could use one right now."
"A mood," she says. I'm guessing without thinking, she grabs my hand, pulling me out the door. She seems very excited to go to the coffee shop.
Or maybe she's excited to see her mom. I know her family has some weird ordeal with them but she never went into too much detail. I try not to push people because I wouldn't want them to do that to me.
Her driver picked us up with her body guard in the passenger seat. The ride over they talked about meeting the new security guard she is getting. Olivia explained that her family is in need of extra surveillance. I'm guessing it has to do with her outburst at the party the other day.
"Jang-Mi! You're here! You don't work today," her boss says all excited to see her. She must be a great employee because his smile says so. "And who do you have here with you?"
"This is Johnny. Johnny, this is the best boss anyone could ever ask for, Mr. Yoon."
"You flatter me! What can I can I get for you today?"
Olivia looks at me. Oh! I guess I'm ordering first.
"Can I have an iced americano?"
"Make that two and a caramel macchiato please. Do you guys want anything?" She turns to her people and they shake their heads no. "That's it!"
"Coming right up."
As if she could read into what I was going to ask next, Olivia answered my unanswered question.
"My mom liked Iced Americanos according to Sasom. So I bought her one. Just so she won't feel left out. I know she can't drink it but it's the thought that counts, right?"
If that's not the sweetest thing I've heard her say! How cute!
"Hey, big head."
Olivia turns to her body guard, laughing. It seems that they are very close. It's very warming and off putting at the same time.
"What's up?"
"This is your new body guard, River."
"Nice to meet you, River. This is Johnny." I wave not knowing what to do in the situation. "I'm letting you know now, how we are around my grandparents is totally different from when they aren't around. So you can relax and just have fun. Follow Han and everything should be fine."
She smiles a bright smile making River smile. Looks like River was about to say something but was cut off by, "Here you are, Jang-Mi. Two iced americanos and a caramel macchiato. I put in a two slices of cake for you both, on the house."
"Mr. Yoon! You're the best! I'll see you next time."
"Take care!"
After walking out, Olivia thought it would be best if we stop to pick up some strawberries and water. The water is to clean off the strawberries. So, we stop by a market and pick up some fresh ones. With a bigger smile than before, Olivia turns to me, slightly bouncing up and down.
"Ready to meet my mom?"
