Chapter 22- Eavesdropping

*hiii, I have a new au prompt but I don't know if it's too lame:) if I do end up writing it, would you read it based on my writing style and update "schedule"? I'll try to match up the updates btw!!

Beomgyu kissed Taehyun as if he was never going to see him again, passion was rushing through their lips. Taehyun didn't kiss back at first but melted into it, hell it was almost impossible to pull away from the soft lips. Suddenly, Beomgyu realized what he was doing and quickly pulled away. 

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me... I guess no one has ever really expressed their love for me like that, so genuine and pure. It made me really happy, I cried midway through your confession and I don't know, I didn't express my happiness in the way I should've. Sorry for kissing you again."

Taehyun knew that Beomgyu really felt bad so he let it go, even though it didn't bother him at all. 

"You should go." Taehyun said. 

Beomgyu frowned and started stepping away.

"Wait, I didn't mean it like that. I meant you should go back to school for the sake of your mom, not because you made me uncomfortable or anything. Plus I could tell your mom wasn't cool about it and it's best you go back anyway. We'll see each other tomorrow after schools over right?"

Beomgyu faintly smiled and nodded afterward. 

"Well I'm not sure honestly bu, I'm going home. Not because I don't wanna go back to school, in fact, I'd rather be there than at home considering my parents are home and I don't wanna see or talk to them right now, especially my mom. Anyway, I don't think I'll come by later tonight uh maybe I won't be able to come back at all honestly... I'm not sure. I need to straighten some stuff out but don't worry I'll find a way for us to be together."

"Beomgyu, don't worry. If I'm causing you trouble, I would prefer that you don't see me. I don't wanna be the cause of your problems, especially when it involves your family. I can tell they're not gonna like me so it's ok if we can't be together anymore. As long as we text or call, I'll be fine and I hope you will too. Now go home and talk to your parents and straighten out whatever you need to. Oh and please tell your mom I said it was nice meeting her, I wanna leave an ok impression you know? Hehe ok go on now~"

Beomgyu gave Taehyun another smile, but this time it was big and bright. 

"Wait, come here." Taehyun said.

Beomgyu walked over to Taehyun and waited for him to do or say something. A warm hug was planted on Beomgyu, who was caught by surprise.

"Take care, yeah? Please make sure to eat properly and sleep lots. I'm sure you'll have more homework to catch up on since you skipped your afternoon classes but that doesn't matter. Just take care of yourself and try to figure out whatever you have going on with your family. I know it's none of my business but I can tell it's affecting you in a negative way. I can see your red cheek too... hey look at me real quick." Taehyun said, pulling away so they could meet eyes.

Beomgyu looked into his eyes, waiting. Taehyun gently placed his hands on Beomgyus face, looking directly into his eyes.

"Don't suffocate yourself with stress. You can call me when all of this is getting to you that is if my phone doesn't die, I'm pretty sure its almost dead. Talk to your other friends about it if its easier or better for you. Let me know if I can do something for you." 

Beomgyu gave Taehyun yet another big bright smile, pleased with his kind words.

"Thank you, Taehyun. I'll try to do everything you said and I'll come see you soon alright?  What kind of phone do you have by the way?"

"Like I said, I would prefer you don't see me for now if it means you and your family will be doing ok and I have an iphone 8 plus... why?"

"Oh, no reason... anyway I'll see you soon Taehyun, let me know if anything comes up. Don't miss me too much hehe~"

Beomgyu walked away, but waited at the door just in case Taehyun wanted to say something else. When he heard nothing, he walked out. 

"ah crap." Beomgyu looked down, his shoelaces were untied and a bit dirty. He must've stepped on them on accident. Bending down to tie his shoes, he heard Taehyun talking to himself but didn't mind it. When he heard his name did he start listening, attentively. Beomgyu pressed his cheek, the one that didn't ache, and his ear against the door, trying to listen to what he was saying.

"Beomgyu Beomgyu Beomgyu. BEOMGYU. You literally just fucking left, now why the hell do I wanna see you already? It's been less than 5 minutes oh my god, I'm pathetic. ok let's think about something else, yeah? Think Taehyun think... anything works. Wow are you serious, brain?! You think, daydream, make me cry and  make me break down in front of Beomyu, YET YOU CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM???? The hell is going on???"

Taehyun had a confused look plastered on his face and really thought about why he couldn't stop thinking about Beomgyu-pls he's so oblivious- 

"ah whatever I'll just take a nap and hopefully dream of nice things this time."

And with that being said, Taehyun got comfortable in his small bed and shut his eyes while Beomgyu was still outside, ear pressed against the door. 

"hm, I guess he really did take a nap..." Beomgyu finished tying his shoelaces and stood up, walking through the halls and out the door. As he was walking to school, to get his car and bookbag, he giggled a bit, remembering what Taehyun said.

"hehe, he thinks about me.." 

Beomgyu had a huge smile plastered on his face, exposing his dimples. When he remembered something else, making the small indents on his cheeks disappear.  

"fuck me." Beomgyu sighed in frustration.

"Why of all people do my parents have to be like this? If I ever officially come out to them, what will they do? Worst they'll do is kick me out... right? UGHH this is so frustrating. Oh shit great, I forgot I have to be home in less than an hour now. WHY THE HELL AM I WALKING?! IT TOOK ME 20 MINUTES RUNNING FROM SCHOOL TO THE HOSPITAL, IMAGINE HOW LONG IT'LL TAKE WALKING." 

Beomgyu started sprinting, in hopes to make it to school and get home on time.

2 days later...
