Chapter 32- Note

3:24 a.m

Barely arriving at the shared apartment, the two males quietly settled themselves on the pull out mattress on the sofa.

"Beom hyung?"

"Yeah?"

"Sorry if I went too far earlier, I won't do it again. Goodnight." Taehyun turned over, facing the window, Beomgyu facing his back.

"Oh- ok then. Goodnight Tyun."

A bit upset, Beomgyu frowned, closing his eyes to get some sleep.

Taehyun turned over again, this time facing Beomgyu, both of them meeting eyes.

"Why are you frowning? Are you upset with me?" Taehyun asked, reaching for Beomgyu's hand.

"Ah, no I'm not upset. I just- I don't know. I've never been in a relationship, much less been with someone in bed. I guess I'm afraid if we do date, things will end, the magic will disappear, something will change, or you'll leave."

Taehyun removed his hand from the olders and gently started caressing his cheek.

"I'm not leaving, ok? We just met and I don't see why anything would change. I totally understand why you're afraid though, the only relationship I was in ended badly and I've had trust issues since then."

Taehyun layed flat on his back, Beomgyu staring at him.

"What happened? If you don't mind me asking of course."

"Mmm well I met this girl. She wasn't very nice to be around at first but we got close when we got paired together for a some project a few years ago. Things were rough the first few days but weeks passed and we kept talking even after we finished the project. Eventually after a few months, we developed feelings for each other, dated, and broke up. She was manipulative, toxic, verbally and emotionally abusive, and only used me for popularity and money. Sometimes I couldn't pay for lunch because of her and I'd have to wait until 3:30 p.m to eat. Even then, she got angry at me for not spending enough time with her but she was happily spending my money and time.

On the last day we were together she said and I quote, "you're a worthless piece of shit who doesn't deserve someone like me or anyone. Go rot in hell or even better, die for all I care. I can't believe I ever used you for the little money you had and all those 5 months we were together, I only managed to get $127 from you. Broke ass bitch. It was fun while it lasted, have fun moving on."

"I cried for weeks. How could someone be so narcissistic and mean? Anyway since then I haven't gotten close to anyone and I haven't made any real friends. That is until I met you and Kai. You two are amazing friends. It's been years since I've been in a relationship but I think I found the right person I wanna be with."

Taehyun looked at Beomgyu, who was quietly crying.

"Oh my god I'm sorry, please don't cry. Come here."

Taehyun spread his arms, welcoming him for a hug. The older nuzzled his head on Taehyuns chest and held onto his shirt, staining it with tears.

"It's ok, I'm ok now. I'm over it. I'm happy with you and Kai ok? Don't think about this a lot, I don't want you to cry again."

A few minutes pass by and the older slowly stopped crying.

"Are you alright now, hyung?"

Beomgyu sniffled, followed by a small nod.
