"Why didn't you tell us sooner, you idiot!?" Yeonjun asked, Soobin taking out his phone.

"I don't know! We just thought it would be better for the least amount of people to know, don't yell at me." Beomgyu said, eyeing Yeonjun in the rearview mirror, who just rolled his eyes.

"Hi, there's someone in danger. It's my best friend, Kang Taehyun. He received some heavy news and went out for a walk but he never came back. It was hours ago." Soobin said, putting the call on speaker.

'Are you sure he's not pulling a prank on you?'

"W-what? No-"

Beomgyu snatched the phone from Soobins hands and angrily spoke to the officer.

"Listen up, my boyfriend is in danger. Me and him made up a scenario for him to use if he's ever in danger or in need of help. We called him and after numerous attempts, he answered with the exact same scenario we came up with. Now either help us or lose your job once I'm through with you."

The police officer let out a heavy sigh.

'How longs he been missing?'

"About 5-6 hours."

'We can't do anything. He hasn't been missing for 24 hours or more, call once it's been 24 hours.'

They hung up.

"What a dick." Beomgyu said, handing the phone back to Soobin.

"What do we do now? Taehyun can't spend the night whatever he is." Soobin said, growing more and more ansy.

"Sweetie, why don't we go to the police station and pay Mr. Kim a visit? Don't you think he'll at least try to help? I mean he knows everything about Taehyun's case, maybe he has something that could help us." Mrs. Choi suggested.

"Mom, you're a genius. You too dad, sometimes. No offense." Beomgyu said, holding in a laugh.

"None taken." Mr. Choi said.

Beomgyu turned the car around and headed to the police station, hoping Mr. Kim was still there.

Taehyun hoped they were looking for him. He hoped to see them again even if it was just for a second.

The injury on his head caused him to lose consciousness, again.

The puddle of blood on the ground had already dried, but his injury only kept dripping and dripping as his head ached in pain.

He awoke with his vision blurry.

He didn't scream, didn't even try. He knew they had no mercy.

Smashed ribs just for fun. Imagine what would have happened to him for screaming..

'they really must be insane huh..' Taehyun thought, his tummy growling.

'When was the last time I ate..? Oh my- I haven't eaten since 3 p.m!? And it was just a damn granola bar..'

Taehyun's stomach grumbled, asking, begging for food. Even water would be good. Not enough, but it's something.

But they didn't return with a meal.

They came back with a large bandage for his continuously bleeding head and finally, some water.

Taehyun couldn't see them well. His vision was still blurry.

But he could make out that they came back without their mask on.

How convenient.

The one time Taehyun can't see is also the one time his kidnapper isn't hiding behind their mask.
