So most everyone keeps to the whole Nighteye being a bitter bitch about OFA and All Might but I wanna see one where they just like click.
Nighteye just accepts Midoriya and goes like eh either he gives it to Mirio and becomes the first quirkless hero or he gets his shit together and still becomes a good hero. Midoriya would learn so much about hand to hand and just quirkless fighting and strategy from nighteye whose quirk is a once a day thing.
I also wanna see Nighteye get absolutely murderous angry at All Might when he finds out that at first he told Midoriya that he couldnt be a hero (like why does Midoriya just like gloss over that and not tell anyone). Nighteye was his sidekick for like 5 years and hes basicly quirkless so you know hed take it super personal after bonding with Midoriya and seeing how great of an analytic mind and overall strategist he is.
Like imma need some popcorn, lay into him kind of scolding topped with the pettiest of punishments and Nighteye basically adopting Midoriya and training him in place of All Might.
All Might being like the dad thats in the doghouse and Nighteye getting everyone on his side so now everyones mad at him. Aizawa has a separate yelling at him session that turns into concern of "and then you left a depressed, hopeless, quirkless, bullied child on a roof alone. " Inko is also pretty miffed but is alot more passive aggressive about it. Nezu just wants to watch the world burn so hes enjoying the show but also agrees that it wasnt one of All Mights greatest moments.
All Might lives in a torturesome hell until they forgive him.
Nighteye takes over pretty much all his mentorship duties. Inko wont let him over to the house and sends Izuku out with hero merch thats everyone but All Might. Aizawa takes to waking him up every time he has a night patrol and making him lose sleep. Nezu sits him through a full week of lectures on current quirkless treatment, bullying, spoting suicidal youth, crushing the dreams of youth, how to guide youth in a positive manner and then makes him get his teaching certificate before letting him back with students.
Izuku is like a kid in the middle of a divorce through all of it and just kees busy. Everyone else is so confused and wants to know why all might looks like a kicked puppy and everyones mad at him. He steps in the classroom one time and Aizawa yells at him about beinv an inconsiderate idiot with two brain cells until he backs out.
Meanwhile reader and nezu are sitting back with that popcorn.
Sorry if this got ranty at all but like this is one of my first realy big issues with canon is that scene and i find it right that alot of fics diverge from there.
