(Jimin's POV)

The next day I felt lighter but that feeling sort of sunk once we pulled into his parents driveway.

"What if they don't like me? What if this isn't even the kind of wine they like?!" I panicked, looking at the bottle I had bought.

"They aren't fancy people, they don't have intensive wine pallets, wine is wine to them, don't worry. And of course they'll like you. They made me and I like you, so it would only make sense." He stated simply but I wasn't sure if that's how that worked.

I felt less pressure than I did when meeting Jungkook's parents since I had to pretend to be his fiancé...that put a lot more pressure on things. As well as the fact that his parents seemed really nice but I was still nervous. Taehyung took my hand as we got up to the porch. His parents home was small, especially coming from living in the mansion-like home that I had been in for weeks. But I liked this home, it seemed cozy and warm even from the outside. The garden in front had colorful purple, white, and red flowers. The big tree in front, all though most of it leaves were gone for winter, had small reddish things hanging from them and I smiled once I realized it was an apple tree.

Although it was a modest house, the nearest neighbors house looked very small from here.

As soon as Taehyung put his key into the door, I could hear shuffling coming from inside of the house. The door opened and we...well mostly Taehyung, was immediately bombarded.

"TAEHYUNG!" A girl who looked to be about 7 years old, lept from what seemed about 3 feet away into her brothers arms. The other two children, a boy who looked 15-17 and another girl who looked about 14 just stood coldly to the side. Hoseok's age range of them had been way younger and I wondered how long ago he had seen them. All 3 looked a lot like Taehyung, with his same eyes and the 7 year old had the same smile. His mother and father were not far behind and attacked him with strong hugs and kind words like 'did you get taller?' 'I've missed you so much!' 'My boy!!' And much else. I stood there awkwardly until his mother focused her attention on to me.

"Jimin! Welcome! Oh you're so handsome!" She squeezed me in a tight hug, surprising me a little. "Oh it's cold out here, let's get you two inside!" She shuffled us both in. Inside of the house was sort of what I expected. There were warm family pictures on the walls, what looked to be handmade rugs, and toys spotted some where random every so often. It felt lived in, which was different from my childhood home. It also smelled like cookies here, which his mother explained she was baking for us. We were ushered into the living room which was only separated from the kitchen by a little wall divider that came up to my waist. Once seated on the couch, I looked around as Taehyung spoke to his father and his 7 year old sister clung to his leg.

There were awards above the fireplace. They looked like children's sports awards and maybe a few academic ones. The fireplace was crackling and the smell of fire swirled together with the cookies. They had a tv that was muted, some cartoon playing. Since the kitchen wasn't far at all, I could hear Taehyung's mother humming from her place near the oven. The two siblings that seemed cold were just watching us from the stairway which led into the living room. I couldn't see up there and they seemed to use that to their advantage because when we made eye contact, they disappeared up there. Other than those two, who seemed a little creepy/cold, the house was incredibly welcoming.

"Taehyung, I wanna show you my toys, my toys, the ones I got for Christmas, can I show you my toys, Taehyung-" the little girl pulled on her older brothers pants. The whole time his father had been talking to him. She had been doing this but he just smiled down at her patiently and told her he needed a few minutes and then they could look at toys for hours. She seemed to accept this answer and made herself comfortable on his lap and his father asked about school. She was quite adorable, she smiled like Taehyung and had dough eyes. She looked exactly like him but with chubbier cheeks, long hair, and more of a button nose. When she realized she would have to wait for her brothers attention, she focused on me.
