RING RING RING

the bell rang, ending our free period, interrupting the spider-man movie i was watching.

dang it i only had 30 minutes left

i put my phone away and waited for the next teacher to walk in.

everyone started to pack their bags and get up to leave which made me very confused.

"where are we going?" i asked youngmi who had just got up out of her seat.

"science lab. we have science now dummy"

yay

i genuinely like science sometimes, but we always get the worse teachers which makes me hate it. so sad,
i know.

i grabbed my bag from under my desk and started to head out, walking behind everyone else since i left the classroom last.

or so i thought

"boo"

"AAHHHH"

i jumped up and screamed,

"NOT COOL DUDE"

"you get scared so easily" jake was next to me laughing.

"why do you enjoy giving me heart attacks" i said glaring at him like excuse me sir i almost died.

"anyways i think we have miss lu instead of
mr park."

"oH MY GOSH YAY FINALLY. wait mr park is never away should we be worried?"

it's true. every single science lesson mr park is always here. never away. somehow never sick. always. here.

"dunno maybe he finally caught something."

"wanna bet? he's literally that one teacher that's never away. he takes care of his health a lot so there's no way he can be sick."

"okay bet. $5 he's sick"

"you're on" i look at jake with determination in my eyes.

we sit at the back like we usually do and wait for our teacher to get here. just on cue, seconds later miss lu walks in.

"alright kids, so mr park along with a few other teachers are at a conference"

"hand it over" i happily grin at jake sticking my hand out in front of him.

"ugh fine you win this one" he grumbles, putting $5 in my hand.

"thank you sir"

"there weren't enough teachers to take over every class, so we will have another class joining us today, so make some room and be nice." miss lu continues.

i turn over to jake and gave him "that look" not wanting another class in here since it would get a little cramped. the class walks in and i know absolutely none of them. i've seen some d then around the school but i've never talked to any of them.
