"Reiji sweetie I'm here to tuck you in" Eleanor said knocking softly on the door
"You can come in Mama" Reiji said
Eleanor came in to only find Reiji reading a biology book. Eleanor stared sadly at Reiji because he couldn't live a a life without a book in his hands. She grabbed the book gently from his hands a layed it on the top shelf and said,
"No more reading, you need your sleep" Eleanor said sternly
"But if I do how will I become the successor? If I don't read and learn then I can't impress Mother" Reiji said trying to grab the book from the shelf
"You do not need to impress her" Eleanor said picking up Reiji laying him under the duvet, "All you need is to live. If all you do is read then how will you have fun? Your mother may not show that she is proud of you but I am. I may not have given birth to you Reiji but I will always be your mother and be proud of you no matter what."
"I'll take you words in to thought" Reiji said
Eleanor sighed and wanting to say something but stopped herself. Eleanor tucked Reiji under the purple duvet and kissed his forehead and said,
"Good night my sweet Reiji have good dreams"
"Good night Mama"
