The rules of soulmates are as follows:
1. Any mark made on one soulmate appears on the other, whether it be injuries, drawings, tattoos, etc.
2. Writing names, locations, or other identifying information is impossible. Your skin becomes impervious to marks if you are intending to reveal your identity.
2.1: The only personal information you can give is age, sexuality, and gender.
3. Few people have more than one soulmate; however, those that do have no more than three. (aka poly)
4. Some people have soulmates that end up as close friends rather than a romantic partner.
5: A select few people do not have soulmates. These people are called the Soulless. They cannot feel emotion, and as such will do nearly anything to try and feel something.
5.1: These rules do not apply to Soulless.
