Chapter 8 part 2: The pack comes over

Recap: "Emmett, take them downstairs and explain it while I help Jasper compose himself" I told him. He looked as if he were going to protest until I gave him a look that said do it now cause I ain't playing. He nodded while getting everyone out and closing the door.

I look at Jasper and rub his back as his sobs lessen down to just slight sniffles. "Do you think you can go in the living room with your family or do you need a little more time?" I ask him as I run my fingers through his hair. He instantly stopped his sniffling and curled into me further while putting his head in the crook of my neck. "C-can you walk in there with me a-and let me c-curl in your l-lap?" He asked with a tone of voice that was so broken and trembling that I felt bad for him but anger at the bitch who hurt him. "Of course cupcake, I'll stay with you until you tell me to leave. C'mon, they're waiting for us in there" I told him as we stood up and walked to the living room. When we entered the living room, everyone was looking at us with either sadness or confusion. Jasper was curled into my side as we were walking towards the couch. Alice came up and tried to take Jasper away again but before I could hiss at her, Jasper pushed her away and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Jasper, why are you clinging to her? You barely know her. shouldn't you cling to Emmett or someone from our family who has been with you for some hundred years" Alice told Jasper with anger hinted in her voice while glaring at me. "She is just as much my mate as Emmett is too. Why should I let her go when I want her right now?" Jasper asked as we both sat down on the loveseat. "Because she made you cry, she hurt you obviously" Alice screeched out as she tried to come closer to pull Jasper away. I tightened my hold on him. "She comforted me and got information to deal with someone who actually hurt me" Jasper yelled at her, effectively stopping her in her tracks. "Who hurt you?" She questioned as Jasper looked at her like she was crazy. "Did you literally forgot that you and Edward saved me from Maria, she was the one who hurt me. Not Chris, my cookie is gonna take care of it" Jasper yelled at her before whispering the last part and curling up in my lap. "But Jas, I said to let it go, she can't hurt you anymore" Alice tried telling Jasper but there was a hint of force in it. She's hiding something, I look over and talk to Edward through my thought telling him to nod or shake his head in response. When he shook his head, I kept my mind open to him telling him to focus on my mind and saying that I was diving into her thoughts. He nodded and I did so. I got to two very shocking memories of hers. One being her lying about being Edwards mate and having already met not only her mate but also scaring Edwards mate away, and the second one is of her plotting with Maria to bring Jasper back to her. As soon as Edward saw those, he lost it. "You lying piece of shit. Why are you doing this Alice?" Edward yelled causing everyone to look between him and Alice. "W-what do you mean love, and please don't yell cause you scared me" Alice said while trying to play it off. "I just found out through your memories that not only are we not mates but because you already met yours but drove mine away. Then another shocking thing I found in your memories is you plotting with Maria to bring him back to her. Why are you doing this. What will you gain from it?" He asked her as the others gasped and stare at Alice. She started to panic. "H-how do y-you know t-that?" She stuttered out as the others started glaring at her and Jasper curled into me more while Emmett moved to stand closer to us. "You had your mind block down while trying to "convince" Jasper that Maria wouldn't hurt him anymore. Now where is my real mate and why are you trying to hand Jasper over to the psycho bitch that put Jasper through years of pain?" Edward growled out as he stepped towards Alice. Just as she was about to attack to get Jasper, everyone stopped long enough for Edward to restrain her. Carlisle answered the door and was talking to someone. Then I heard a growl and recognized who it was from. "S-Sam it's fine. Two of his son's are my spiritual others" I spoke as the growling stopped. Carlisle came back in the living room with not only same but the whole pack. "Sis, are you ok, are you hurt?" Paul asked as he slowly approached her to show not only my mates but also the Cullen's that they were no threat. "Yeah, just found out some shocking news from Alice though" I said as Seth asked Jasper and Emmett if they could hug me. They were going to agree until I interjected. "I'll hug you all after we finish this, I have to stay with Jasper or Alice will try and take him" I told them while holding Jasper and purring in his hair. "Why, why is she trying to take him from you and do we need to help?" Sam asked as Carlisle starts explaining. After he was done explaining what happened and what was going on, the pack was beyond pissed off. "When we need your help we will ask but right now I have to ask you all something if that's ok?" Esme said in her kind and gentle motherly tone. "Of course, ask away" Sam said as he ruffled my hair slightly. "How do you know Chris and why did you all call her sis?" Esme asked while the boys were mumbling and whispering to each other. "She is an honorary pack member, and we knew her since we were born. She helped raise us and understand our shifting when we shifted the first time. She has been our sister figure and spirit guide" Quil said as they all nodded in unison. "Well then, Since you all are her family, you all can lecture Emmett on what will happen if he hurts her. Jasper won't hurt her because he is her submissive, and as you can tell, he loves and needs her too much to hurt her" as soon as Esme said that, the pack asked to speak with Emmett out front. After soon as they came back inside, the pack was laughing and Emmett was looking like he was trying to not laugh as hard as he could. The pack then looked at Alice with nothing but pure rage. "What is your intension with trying to destroy our sister and hurting your brothers, what do you gain from it?" Paul questioned her with a tone of voice that just dares her to hurt me to see what will happen. If looks could kill, Alice would be ash from everyone's glares. "Wouldn't you like to know, I ain't saying shit" Alice spat out as the pack and Carlisle held back Paul back as best they could. "Edward, find out where yours and her mates are and tell us where they are" Carlisle tells Edward as he himself knew that the information was obtained not from Alice letting her guard down, but from me pronging into her mind. Carlisle looked at me as he knew Alice would have Edward blocked and asked me with his expression. I nodded my eyes so Alice didn't know and told Edward to focus on my thoughts act like he was focusing on Alice. I told him not to show an answer to just do it. I dived into her mind and searched through until I found what we were searching for. Edward memorized it and nodded. "Got it, let's go. Sam, can you and some of the pack members come with me and some of our family to bring them here?" Edward asked while handing Alice over to Carlisle so he can approach Sam. "Yes I will go as well as Paul, Seth, and Quil. Who in your family is coming along?" He asked while Edward smirks. "Blade and Rosalie will come along while the others stay here" He says as they all nod and head out to Canada. Emmett sits at my feet and rests his head on Jaspers lap. Me and Jas play with Emmett's hair as he starts purring with love and affection. To keep Alice from leaving, Carlisle rips off her arms and legs while gagging her so she can't make Jas upset by screaming. After about fifteen hours later, Edward and the others come back with the two males. About an hour before they arrive though, we re-attached Alice's limbs and ungag her while holding her back. When they walk in, we immediately started asking them questions until we got our answers. Edward immediately saw in Alice and her mate's thoughts that they were going to hurt his mate as well as the family, pack, and me to take Jasper away and punish us for either giving away the information or interfering with it. He immediately told the family. After he finished, we ripped them apart with heavy hearts. We burned the pieces and talked about other matters while Edward took his mate to hunt. It was my time to go home and I didn't want to but I knew I had to in order to deal with the bitch. I told them about me going home when Jas clutched onto my arm.
