Chapter 13: The Volturi guards

Carlisle's P.O.V; I had gotten home from working my shift at the hospital when I smell an unfamiliar scent in the house. I enter with caution only to smile at the scene before me. My family and Chris talking about meeting her big family as well as Edward holding a young red haired boy who if my assumption is correct, is his mate. When he nodded his head, I knew I was write. The young man was curled up on Edwards lap asleep. I was about to speak when I received a message on my phone. I look at it and see that I got a text from Aro. I open it and read to be shocked at what it contained. Aro was inviting my family over to introduce our two new people. Edward read my thoughts and growled out, hugging his mate tighter. "Why do they wish to meet Chris and Gaara? what are they planning?" Edward questioned as Chris hugged Jasper close and pulled Emmett closer to her. "I haven't the clue son but we have to go to Italy or they'll come here and if they come here, then they'll kill them. We don't have a choice" I said as jasper starts whimpering. "Hey cupcake, it's ok. They won't take me from you. I won't leave you or this family alone. I won't leave my mates" Chris said as he cradles Jasper to calm him down. "They have sent enough tickets for all of us. Chris, call your mother and inform her that we are going to take a trip to Italy" I tell her as she nods and pulls out her phone. She dials the number and not even after the first ring her mother answers. "Hey dear, are you coming home soon or do your partners need more time with you?" Her mother questions. "Actually I was just wondering if I can accompany the Cullen family on there little trip to Italy to visit an old friend. Carlisle invited me and I wanted to ask?" she said like it was the most natural lie she has ever told. "Is Carlisle there so I can ask if it's true?" Her mother questions as Chris laughs. "The phone is on speaker and he is here in the living room with me and the rest of the family. Jasper is refusing to leave my lap so I have a cuddly teen in my lap" she tells her mother as she plays with Jaspers hair and chuckles. "Is it true Dr. Cullen that you invited her with you and your family on your little trip. If you did, how long will you all be gone?" Her mother questions while trying to hold her amusement about all of this. "I did in fact invite her and we will most likely be gone for about a few days since school will be starting in a week. Is that ok Ms. Cooper?" I asked her and I hear her chuckle a little bit before she answers. "Yes Dr. Cullen, that is perfectly fine. Make sure to have her back on the day before school ok?" She asks and I in return chuckle along with her daughter. "Of course Ms. Cooper, you have my word" I tell her cause I will bring her daughter back, even if I am killed for it. They both say there goodbyes and hang up. "Ok so how long exactly will we be gone cause I wanna make sure that I have enough clothes for this" Chris asked as we all decided on how long we'll be there. "We'll be back in about five days, so five changes of clothes" me and my mate Esme said at the same time. "Everyone pack up some stuff and meet up in the garage" Esme said and we all nodded and went opposite ways. We all met back in the garage after about thirty minutes. We all loaded into the cars and headed to the airport. Once we arrived, I paid for the parking and we went through scanning. We finally got on the private jet that held the elite guard members. Jane and Alec were glaring at Chris to which she ignored. But as soon as they started glaring at Gaara, Chris lost her shit. "I would kindly appreciate it if you would stop glaring at my soul brother. He did nothing to you so stop trying to scare him or I will rip you apart" She said with a kind smile but the tone of voice that she used was daring them to try something. The twins stared at her like she was crazy. "Do you even know who we are you disgusting human" Alec spat out causing Chris to laugh like a maniac. All of us stepped back, even Jasper let her go and stepped back. "I am no human, I am Chris Olympic. Daughter of Zeus and Hera Olympic, Living heir to the throne of Olympus. I will kill you if you even thing of making my brother uncomfortable. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME BASTARD?" She growled out before yelling at them in her Olympic voice that they immediately recognized and shrunk back. "Oh and another warning for you all. Hurt any of the Cullen's, and I will burn your coven to the ground" Chris growled before going over to an empty section in the back of the jet with Emmett and Jasper right behind her. Edward and Gaara went over and sat with them. The rest of the family sat near her with our respected mates and did our own thing while the elite guards avoided anything that will piss her off. The jet finally landed and we were off heading to the kings. It was sunset so we were able to walk through with no problems. We start heading to the throne room when we were put into a waiting room. "We will get you when the kings are ready to see you" Felix said as they shut the door and left.
