"So let me get this straight. You lived with the Phoenix all your life and you are here?" Gu-en said surprise lacing his tone.
"Yes, Hakuryuu." Verena looked to the rising sun after answering him. She fixed her side pouch before looking at Hiryuu.
"I'll be leaving Hiryuu. Later then dragon warriors." She said before jumping off the castle walls and Gu-en, Abi, Zeno and Shuten widened their eyes, running to the wall edges looking down.
"Did she just jump...?" Gu-en said his eyes wide.
"Wow Hakuryuu, your words caused her to commit death." Shu-ten smirked and Gu-en paled.
"N-no way!" Gu-en yelled in fear.
"Calm down. She didn't die. You keep forgetting she has the Phoenix's blood within her veins. She can't die easily." Hiryuu sighed before walking away leaving two dragon warriors bent on hurting each other.

Zeno yelped as he fell to the ground. He looked at his arm that was stinging with pain and the blood there. However, the moment he blinked the scrape was gone.
"Again." He sighed before dusting his clothes and getting up.
"Quite the power you got there, Ouryuu." A feminine voice rang out and Zeno snapped his head to his left where Verena sat on the grey bricked wall. Her knee pulled to her chest while the other swung back and forth.
"Lady Phoenix!" Zeno said in shock.
"Call me Verena. Your name, its Zeno right?" She asked or rather stated
"Yeah.." He said.
"One of the dragon warriors and you are the Yellow Dragon. Interesting." She said eyeing him.
"I may be a dragon warrior but I'm nothing special. I am not strong like the others nor can I fight nor do I have any powers." He said pitifully and Verena raised an eyebrow.
"But you have heart and you are kind. Those two qualities are enough because you don't see them easily nowadays." She said and Zeno felt his cheeks turn red at her words.
"Eh? I- Uh!" He blew a fuse and she sighed.
"Zeno blew a fuse. That's new." A mocking voice said from above and she looked up to see Shu-Ten landing on his feet, spear sheathed away.
"Ryokuryuu." She acknowledged.
"Tell me, miss Verena, what did you say that made the little twerp blow a fuse?" Shu-ten said with a smirk his face too close to hers and Verena looked at him with bored eyes.
"Yield." She said simply and Shu-ten yelped as he fell to the ground on his knees, unable to get up.
"What did you do to me!?" He said agitated.
"I don't prefer people touching or getting to close so carelessly." She said.
"E-Eh!? Let me go!" Shu-ten struggled and Zeno watched in concern: he got over his shock and was now sitting on the bricked wall.
"Um.... Verena, Shuten might get hurt." Zeno sweatdropped.
"I suppose you are right." She rolled her eyes and stopped her spell.
"Erase."
Shu-ten finally got up and was about to yell at the girl before he noticed something.
"Where did the twerp and witch go?!"

"Eat." Verena said as she shoved a box of Nikuman at Zeno who caught is hurriedly.
"T-thanks!" Zeno said as he munched on the Nikuman.
"What is this place?" His blue eyes went over the place they were at. Shelves upon shelves with books and glass jars. A canopy was placed between two tree branches above the ground. A place fireplace encased by stones was at the side, papers were scattered across the table which was adjacent to the door of the house.
They weren't on the ground that Zeno was sure off due to the sight of trees and branches outside the windows of the place.
"My living quarters. Tea?" She asked as she placed a kettle over the fire.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
"Its lovely. Must be nice living here huh." Zeno smiled, his cheeks stuffed with the Nikuman.
Verena eyed his puffed cheeks before sitting infront of him abruptly. Zeno jolted, his food in his mouth his cheeks puffed and full.
"V-Verena?" He said placing a hand over his mouth as he spoke.
"Can I touch them?" She asked, eyeing his pale, puffed cheeks.
"My cheeks?" He asked cautiously to which she nodded like a child.
"Sure I guess."
Immediately she brought her hand to his cheek and cupped it causing his eyes to widen. She pulled at it lightly and smiled seeing how soft it was.
"Zeno, you are really cute!" She said with her red eyes sparkling.
"Verena-chan you are really sweet!" Zeno grinned back and flowers surrounded them as a light pink aura erupted around them.
