It was a normal day for Larry. He was training with Kaia, Jasmine, and Cari-practicing his fire powers, while the girls practiced their elemental powers. He was wondering why the old woman in the hospital who was dead hadn't woken up yet. His stomach was also rumbling for French toast, which he hadn't had since lunch.

"LARRY!" Jasmine yelled. "ARE YOU CONCENTRATING, YOU DUNDERHEAD?!"

"Thank you," Larry said.

The girls exchanged confused looks. "Jaz called you a dunderhead," Cari said. "You know what a dunderhead means, right, Larry?" She looked at him like he was dumb. (He wasn't, he knew. Or at least, he thought).

"Of course I know what a dunderhead is!" Larry said, agitated. "It means something like handsome head, right? Mommy said I'm handsome and very special."

"That's because she's your mother," Kaia said dryly. "And you're not special. You're a dunderhead, which means dumb head, by the way."

"I'm not dumb!" Larry yelled. "I'm the opposite of dumb! I'm handsome."

Cari appeared to be sneaking something out of her pocket. She had this sly grin on her face, and Larry knew this was not a good sign. He wasn't that dumb.

In a flash, Cari pulled out water from her pocket. Yes, water, with no cup. That was totally normal, since water was Cari's element. And it was totally fine. To Cari. Not to Larry.

"NOOOOO!" Larry screamed. "Please don't! Please don't!" Cari had the water placed over his head. She was just holding on to it, but Larry knew she could tip it over any second. Unless he did what she wanted him to do, which was something he probably didn't want to do. But it was the only way, or his beautiful hair would be drenched in water and smoke.

"If you don't want me to do it, zip your mouth, pay attention, and stop being a dunderhead."

Kaia walked over. "He can't stop being a dunderhead, Cari. He is one!" She attempted to put her arm around Larry's shoulders, and then- "oops!" Kaia knocked the water straight out of Cari's grasp and it fell, soaking Larry's precious locks and drenching his hair and clothes. Smoke began to rise from his body.
