❝Truth is the only daughter of time❞

It only took a touch,
but it brought past, present, and future together.
It only took a song,
but evil and good came, and merged into one.
There are two sides of every story; that's what happened...
"THIS IS THE GREAT HALL?" Cari was aware, for once, that she sounded completely freaked out and stressed, but that didn't stop her—the place where wizards ate... it was pretty much a five star resturaunt! Floating candles, four huge tables, and chairs and tables of gold and silver—it had a head table, too.
Cari turned and looked at everyone else. Larry was chatting absentmindedly with Harry S and Louis, casually commenting on the decorations and the placement of objects; Harry and Louis seemed to be paying attention, which was quite surprising, to Cari.
Jasmine was being her talkative self, but this time, she seemed willing to not let her desire to rip and tear everything stop her from having a calm, civil conversation with Katniss, Peeta, Prim, and Gale. And Kaia was having a discussion with Dumbledore, a discussion that was probably about nature.
Harry, who was late to reply, nodded at Cari's question, or rather, scream. "I was mindblown when I saw it, too," he said, glancing at the space around him. "But I got used to it. You will, too. You'll basically be living here, after all."
There was a moment of silence, then, Cari nodded, keeping the sad feeling—one that shredded all her hope into tiny little pieces—that she could never go home, not with magic that hadn't been discovered. She shook herself out of her trance and glanced back at Harry, curiosity evident.
"Who are you going to ask the to the ball thingy?" Cari asked. She honestly did actually want to know.
Harry fiddled with his thumb. "I don't know," he said quietly. He avoided eye-contact. "You?" Cari could tell he was trying to change the subject.
"A tsunami, maybe," Cari replied dryly. She didn't like too many boys, certainly not enough to ask them to a ball.
"You like Tsunami?" Harry looked confused. "But I could've sworn that you and Larry—"
"WHAT!"
Nononononononononononononononononononononononononononononono—not Larry. Please not Larry. Anyone but Larry.
