Ajax

All hell broke loose, (well like 2 quarters of it and technically not yet because the demons are still sleeping but details, details)
Literally! courtesy of yours truly, with little to no help from my brother, little bitch.

"I still don't think this is a good idea Ajax," Trevor says marching up and down on the open fields of the northern region of Tartarus where I just opened the portal a few minutes ago, did I say marching I meant stomping down hard on dirt, throwing a bitch fit, very childishly might I add.

I ignore him.

It's only a matter of time before the demons catch wind and they realize they are free to go fuck shit up.

I stand on the side of the gigantic wormhole AKA the portal, with a sadistic smirk on my face, I almost rub my hands together in heavy anticipation.

I breathe in the air of this godforsaken place big fucking mistake I instantly regret it and almost choke on the very strong, very pungent smell of rotting burning flesh and rotten souls, it hits me deep inside my nostrils and I tear up "Fucken Hell", I say wiping my eyes with the back of my hand, there's no smell quite like it, it's what hells made out of.

I look up at the gloomy skies and shake my head, the sun and the moon don't touch this part of the world, but why would they? We're in the underworld after all.

This place only houses the evilest, the vilest, the cruel, the unkind, the burdens of the world, and the outcasts, of course we don't deserve nice things. Darkness, despair, horror with a dash of fog and humidity, and hot stinking fucking air is all we know.

My attention is grabbed by the first few demons who appear at the clearing coming from whichever hell hole they've crawled up from.

 man it's happening, it's happening
I almost jump up and down in excitement, but I maintain my composure.

I watch them as they file out and walk towards us in a straight line, like a bunch of kindergartners, I snort.

"What a bunch of sissies" I mummer mostly to myself, but Trevor hears me and stops his childish stomping to come stand by my side.

The northern demons are the underdogs of the demon world, mainly because they look and act like humans (owing to the fact that most of the humans who I recruit to the demon world I send here), and everybody knows how badly humans suck. Their very weak and vulnerable dependent nature is off-putting and the fact that they're protected by the man upstairs(god) makes them all the more unlikeable. I guess that doesn't earn these guys walking towards me and Trevor right now any brownie points with the demons of the other regions. To me though these guys are just perfect for what I have planned and trust me when I say that we have all kinds of demons for all types of occasions.

I stand upright, train my face to neutral and I get my defenses up, I look at Trevor sending him a silent warning to do the same, but I secretly offer him some of my protective energy in case he fucks up like he usually does.

Demons don't give a flying fuck, if they ever catch an opportunity to take you down they'll use it, shit they'll even try the devil if it came down to it. They have nothing to lose but everything to gain. Power and domination are all that they'll ever want.

If they were able to kill and overpower a prince that's more than enough power and respect they can ever gain, especially from fellow demons. I imagine that's what I'd do too if I ever had to carry the burden of being bestowed with the nature of a human, especially in a demon-infested world.
