Unexpected// Calum Hood

Chapter 11

Delilah's POV

It was Sunday morning. Mom was out, sister was at daycare. I was home alone. I woke up. The house was silent. I went into the bathroom and showered. I didn't even know how to feel right now. Calum said he loved me. We almost kissed. I got out of the shower. I picked out what I was going to wear. I brushed out my hair and just put it up in a bun how it was. I decided to call Calum, instead of moping around thinking all day.
I dialed his number. The phone rang, and rang, and rang. On the last ring it finally picked up.

"Hello?" He said

"U-um hi Calum can we talk?" I said kind of stuttering.

"Um yeah, sure. Can I meet you at your house about 1:00?" He said

"Sure, I'll be here all day!"

"Okay see you soon then, bye." He said ending the call

It was like 12:00. I decided to clean my room while I waited. I really don't like my room messy. It's an OCD thing. It took me about 5 minutes and then I just say on my bed and turned on the TV. I was watching gossip girl (A/N: CUZ YASSS IT'S THE SHOW) I started the series over because I've seen it like 7 times. I'm on the second episode at the part where Chuck's father is having a tea and Nate tells Serena to meet with him to talk and Serena tells Dan she has to quickly go but she'll be back. I suddenly heard the doorbell ring. I paused gossip girl and ran down to the door. I opened it slowly feeling butterflies. Calum was looking down, then shot his head up when I opened the door.

I smiled. "Hi Cal! Come right in."

We just sat on the couch for 10 minutes straight just staring at eachother.

"U-um I have Netflix on my tv upstairs. Wanna watch gossip girl with me?"

He chuckled. "Um sure."

We walked up the stairs and he sat on my beanbag chair on the floor. I sat right next to him. I unpaused gossip girl and he was laughing histarically.

"What's so funny?" I asked and smiled

"Why is this on? It's weird" he said

I lightly hit him and he acted so hurt. He tackled me and we started wrestling. We wrestled for like 5 minutes until he pinned me on the ground. He was staring into my eyes.
He started to lean in. He crashed his lips onto mine. Sparks flew. My mind was spinning in circles. He stopped and then whispered something in my ear.

"To answer your question, yes. I meant what I said, when I said I loved you." He whispered. He quickly kissed my cheek before exiting the room.

I was just left there speechless. I sat there in that spot for about 3 hours. My mom got home. By that time it was pretty late. I decided to go to sleep.

Calum's POV

So, it's Monday morning. Yesterday I admitted my feelings for Delilah. I've liked her for a while, but my buddy Luke liked her too. Now, he has Francesca, so I have a chance.

Delilah's POV

I just got to school. I drove up and saw Ashton walking. He walked up to me.

"Hey Delilah" he said quietly

"Um hi" after that I just walked off.

I walked into the school. I went to my locker, and got my books out. Someone leaned on my locker, and it shut loudly.

"Oh Michael, what a delight to see you" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah, back at ya" he smirked

"New hair? Blue looks nice on you!" (A/N: MIKEY'S NEW HAIR IS HAWT OMGGHG)

"Calum looovvesss you" he started making kissy noises.

"So I've heard" I chuckled

"You guys should like make out or something" he said and laughed

"Ha-ha very funny" I said seriously

"I know, I get it from my mum" he smiled

The bell rung and I ran off to class.

Calum's POV
I was sitting bored in class. The day went on and on and took forever. The last bell finally rung and I went searching, searching for Delilah. I ran up and down the hallways and I finally saw her. Her pretty face and stunning eyes, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I walked up to her nervously. My hands were shaking.

"Uh hi Delilah" I scratched the back of my head

"Hey CalPal" she smiled

"Aww that's such a cute nickname" I smiled

She let out a little giggle.

"Uh so Delilah, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me? An official date, no bullies or josh. Just you and me. What do you say?"

"I would love to go on a date with you, cal" she had a big grin on her face

"Okay I'll give you the details later. Gotta go bye!" I kissed her cheek and ran before she could react.
