Unexpected// Calum Hood

Chapter 5

Delilah's POV

When I got to school I walked off of the bus. I saw Ashton in the corner of my eye wave to me so I turned around and waved back. He was such a sweet boy, Well from what I've seen of him. I really can't assume much yet since I just met him. He could be a jerk that just wants to use me for embarrassment, or he could actually be a generally nice person. I knew he was cute, no arguing that.

I walked into school, and went straight to my locker. I opened it and got some books out. All of the sudden I saw Luke rushing toward my locker. He looked kind of mad.

"What did Calum tell you? Tell me the truth!" He said, with his voice quick and to the point.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. What'd Calum tell you?" I said

"Nothing, are you sure he didn't tell you anything?" He said still questioning

"No, but he asked me something."

"Oh, okay."

He didn't even ask what Calum had asked me, he just left.

Luke's POV

"What did you tell her Cal" I said with madness in my voice

Calum smirked without saying a word

Is he just toying with me?

I grabbed him by the collar, which he just started to laugh.

I had told Calum a while back that I had a really big crush on Delilah, because he didn't know her, but now that he's met her, I'm afraid he'll tell her. I need to just suck it up and ask her out.

Delilah's POV

I got to my first class which was art. Most of my teachers liked me because I knew what I was talking about, even in art class.

The day dragged on, but it was the end of the day I was looking forward to, when I got to be on the bus again with Ashton. I don't know what it is about him but he has such a charming personality.

I went to my locker to put away my stuff when I once again see Luke running toward my locker.

"Delilah I was wonderin-

He was cut off by me

"Sorry Luke, I really need to go or I'll miss the bus" I said quickly

"Bus? You?" He said laughing

"Text me later" I said while running away

Luke's POV

I can't believe I missed her. I can't believe I was about to do it, an I blew it on my first attempt. I sighed. Well it can wait another day. What's the worst that can happen in a day?

Delilah's POV

I got on the bus. I was kind of disappointed when I saw Ashton had his bag on his seat, that was until he moved it, so I would have a spot next to him. I smiled and sat down.

"Hello, Love" he said to me and smiled

Love? Oh gosh, my feelings are running rapid right now.

"Hi" I was blushing so much, I looked like a tomato

"I was wondering what is your number so I can maybe call you sometime? He asked with a hopeful tone in his voice

I pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down my number

"Also I know it's kind of short notice, but would you like to go out on a date with me, tomorrow night? I would love to get to know you better."

"Really? Are you serious" I said with my voice excited

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be serious" he said

"U-um nothing. Sure I'd love to!" I said and smiled

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow then, love!" He said as the bus stopped at my neighborhood.

"Yeah I guess you will" I said and smiled back as I got up out
Of the seat."

Luke's POV

As soon as I got home, I did my homework. When I finished that I got in my car. I needed to talk to Delilah. I needed To ask her out. I started to drive, getting more nervous as I inched closer to her house. I finally arrived and I sighed as I walked out of the car. I went up to her door and knocked on it. I saw someone come up to the door. I was about to barf. It was Delilah. I was so scared

"Um hi Luke, what are you doing here? She asked me

"I-I was, uh, wondering if you, uh, wanted to maybe, g-go out tomorrow? With me?" I said like the loser I am

She sighed with frustration

Am I really that bad?

"Anything wrong?" I asked with concern

"No, it's just that, I'm already going on a date tomorrow night." She said with a quiet voice.

"Oh, with who?" I said

"With this guy Ashton." She said smiling

"Irwin? Ashton Irwin?" I said with panic in my voice

"Yeah!" She smiled "you know him?"

Oh do I

"Um, no. Well sorry for bothering you. Bye see you at band tomorrow." I said

I'll be updating tomorrow bcuz I'm going to my friend who is visiting from Switzerlands house tonight! But I'll update tomorrow and the day after that for the new year! K bye
