Unexpected// Calum Hood

Chapter 1

Delilah's POV

I woke up to the piercing sound of my alarm. It was 6:00am. I jumped out of bed and got in the shower. The shock of the warm water awakened me. When I got out of the shower I picked out my clothes for school. I picked out a pair of blue skinny jeans and a paramore t shirt. I blow dried my hair. I grabbed my glasses and my backpack and headed out of the door.

I arrived at school. I sighed and walked in. When I got into my first class, it had already started. People were whispering and throwing notes at my back. You'd think it would bother me. It used to, but I got used to it. The teacher walked in the room and all the students stopped.

Class went by so quickly. before I knew it, it was the end of the day. I had to meet after school for band practice, along with my best friend, Luke. Well pretty much my only friend, I guess you could say. I sat next to Luke on the bleachers. I played the saxaphone and luke played trumpet.

Luke's POV

I really like Delilah. She is so pretty. I can't get enough of the way she smiles, laughs and just talks. Its really hard to approach her though since we are best friends and all, but I want to try to make a move eventually

"Hey Delilah, are you busy this weekend?" I say to her with question in my voice

"Umm I don't think so, why?' she says

"I'm going to a party at my pal Calum's house tonight, and i can bring a friend. would you like to be my plus one?" I said trying to contain myself.

"Sure, I'll come but if I feel the least bit uncomfortable, I am leaving"

"Okay! Ill pick you up at 7 then." I say with excitement and walk out of band and drive on my way back home.
