Unexpected// Calum Hood

Chapter 7

Delilah's POV

Ashton and I have been dating for about a month now. He is the best boyfriend ever. Although I haven't had other boyfriends, and don't know if there could be better. It was Friday afternoon. My parents are out of town so I was thinking of having a few friends over and by few I mean Luke, Ashton, and Calum and perhaps Michael. I really wouldn't consider Michael and I "friends" but almost there.

I walked inside the school and went straight to my locker. I was getting my books out when I suddenly felt two arms wrap around my waist and pick me up. I smirked, knowing it was Ashton. He dropped me and I planted a soft kiss to his lips.

"Hey Ashton. Do you wanna come over tonight for a little get together. My parents are out of town and I got permission to have a few friends over so that invite extends to you, Luke, Calum, and Michael. What do ya say?"

"Of course babe. Wouldn't miss it for the world!" He said and smiled "hey gotta get to class. Love you!" He quickly kissed me and ran off to class

I went to gym class which was my least favorite class.

"Today students we will be doing gymnastics. Although all of you don't have experience it is a required unit through the district so lets get started!" Ms. James said.

I was actually really excited because I used to take gymnastics until about a year back, but I stopped because I kept getting hurt at school so I was always in pain. This year people stopped hurting me but still continued with the hurtful comments and notes.

"Luke, your first" Ms. James spat out

"Show us your best cartwheel"

His face turned red and I started laughing at the tall skinny idiot who I call my bestfriend.

He got on the mat and tried his best, suddenly falling on his butt.

I was hysterically laughing and he glared at me soon after laughing along. The teacher called students up one by one until heard mouth uttered the words...

"Ah, my best student, Delilah Parks, your up" She smiled. People were whispering and giggling but I just went on hopefully willing to surprise some of the students.

I did a perfect cartwheel.

"Very good! First student so far with the perfect technique. Care to show us any other tricks?" Ms James said and smiled

"I u-um, um I don-"

I was cut off by one of the students doubting me

"That loser? Please she couldn't do it if she was Gabby Douglas!"

I suddenly felt the urge to prove him wrong

"Um, sure name any trick." I said nervously

A student yelled out "BACK HANDSPRING" I got back on the mat and did it perfectly

The boy that doubted me was shocked, as students started naming other tricks

"Aerial" Luke said with a smirk, hoping to see me fail like him.

I stuck my tongue out at him and did the aerial. He crossed his arms like a toddler

The bell rang and everyone clapped. "Good job!" Ms. James said to me

I walked out of gym and into the hallway. I was messing with Luke's cheeks and saying "IT'S SO SQUISHY IM GONNA DIEEE" he looked at me with a smile "You are such a loser" he said sounding serious. I fake cried. He laughed

The day went by quickly and I had already told the boys about the get together. I got into my car and drove home. I walked in the house and went right up to my bedroom. I just crashed onto my bed and took a couple hour nap.

Ashton's POV

I actually really love Delilah. I wasn't planning on her being one of the greatest things that happened to me. I felt really bad that I was treating her this way, but I also still have feelings for Ashley. I mean, I have been dating her for a while. It wasn't fair to either of them, but who do I let go?

Luke's POV

Today was a great day. I actually have a girlfriend. She's amazing. Her name is Francesca (cuz ForeverFrancesca is like YASS ❤❤ and ilh but she's an Ashton girl. Check out her fanfics!) she has the prettiest smile that can light up a room. She's my version of perfect.

Delilah's POV

It was about 6:30. I woke up. The boys are supposed to be here by 7. I just basically stayed in my room until I heard the doorbell ring. I ran down the stairs seeing Luke out the window with a smile on his face. Why was he so happy? He never looked so happy in well, his life.

"Hey penguin. Why so cheery?" I said to him and smirked "Is it a girlllll?" I said in a hilarious tone.

"Mayyybee" he said with a very high pitch voice.

"OMG SPILL THE DEETS DUDE!" I said basically yelling

"Later, but you have someone at the door" he said pointing. It was Ashton. I smiled and opened up the door. I greeted Ashton with a kiss. Ashton just stopped for a moment and glared at Luke, as Luke glared back and gave him a not so nice hand signal (lawllll sawwyy) . I laughed, but didn't say a word.

I heard another knock at the door. It was Calum and Michael. I opened up the door to Calum saying:

"THE LIFE OF THE PARTY HAS JUST ARRIVED" he yelled

"Get together" I corrected him

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever lets get this 'get together' started" Michael said and smiled
