"because i'm madly in love with you, jung jaeeun. and only you." the words donghyuck had said only a few days ago kept running through jaeeun's mind and she couldn't help but smile throughout her class.
she was in her medieval western history class with donghyuck and he noticed her smiling to herself. he elbowed her lightly in the side, "why are you smiling so much?" he asked, scooting closer to her and she shrugged, "just thinking about, "because i'm madly in love with you, jung jaeeun. and only you." it makes me smile."
donghyuck rolled his eyes while smiling, "shut up. you still never told me if you wanted to go on a date with me." jaeeun looked at him with a straight face, "no. just because i'm like, in love with you, doesn't meant i want to go on a date with you." she joked and donghyuck chuckled, "i'll pick you up tonight at eight?"
jaeeun nodded, "okay but where are we going?" "bowling." jaeeun nodded and focused her attention back on the teacher. throughout the class, jaeeun and donghyuck kicked each under the table and were giggling quietly like little kids.
after their class, they were walking out of the lecture hall talking about food. "i'm hungry." jaeeun complained as she dragged herself out of the class. donghyuck chuckled, "wanna go get lunch? i mean, we're both free for the next hour and a half."
jaeeun nodded, absent-mindly grabbing his hand. donghyuck's heart fluttered and he looked down at the girl, kissing the top of her head before he even thought about it.
they went to the cafeteria and waited in line for food. "i hate coming here. it's always so cold." jaeeun mumbled, pulling donghyuck's arms around her to find her warmth. donghyuck chuckled at her actions and rested his chin on her shoulder.
once they've gotten their food, they find an empty table but sungchan and areum dragged them to the table with them.
"hi, i'm jaeeun." she smiled, introducing herself to the people she didn't know.
"i'm chenle and this is jisung."
"can i adopt you both?"
"you're a noona?" jisung asked and jaeeun nodded, "i'm sungchan's older sister."
"jaehyun hyung and sungchan never told us they had a sister!" chenle said and everyone laughed. jaeeun sat comfortably between sungchan and donghyuck.
"so, noona. what do you major in?" chenle asked and jaeeun smiled, "i'm a history major! but i also minor in astronomy."
the two, and areum, gasped, "wow! you're really smart."
"thank you! areum!"
donghyuck and jaeeun spent the entire lunch with the four chaotic freshmen before going off to their next class which they have together. donghyuck grabbed jaaeun's hand and dragged her away from the table.
"is your sister dating my brother?" areum asked sungchan and sungchan shrugged, "i'm not sure."
"if they get married, you two will be sibling-in-laws." jisung pointed out and sungchan choked, "marriage? why are we talking about it so early? they're still in college! they aren't even dating yet! who knows! there may not be a marriage!"
"dude, what's your problem?"
"nothing dude. i just... i don't know. i guess i kinda miss my sister."
"why? don't you two live together?"
"now we do."
areum gave sungchan a look of utter confusion and sungchan sighed, "i didn't grow up with her like i did jaehyun hyung. she was in london from fourteen until last year. she went to a boarding school."
"tell her."
"yeah why don't you just do that?" chenle asked and sungchan shook his head, "and ruin her happiness? i'd rather choke and die."
"how would that ruin her happiness?"
"i don't know...i just feel like it would in a way."
"it won't. just tell her. she's your sister, what could go wrong?"
