Chapter 10; ROOM 103

*as the paramedics load Eddie into the ambulance, you can hear Richie yelling behind them.*

"Ed's! It's gonna be okay! I'm sorry!! I love you." Richie shouted knowing Eddie couldn't hear him. As he got onto his bike pedaling after the ambulance following them towards the hospital.

*They Arrived at the hospital and had put Eddie into room 103*

"Eddie Kaspbrak." Richie said telling the nurse about who he was looking for. Richie was extremely dehydrated. He didn't care. All he cared about if Eddie was alive or dead. If his boyfriend. Eddie. Was. Alive. Or. Dead.

Tears filled in Richies eyes of the thought of Eddie being dead.
None came out though, Richie had been previously crying on the way to the hospital which made his face hurt, and his body ache.

"103" the nurse replied.

Richie rushed down the hall into that room , 103.
"Eddie?" Richie called out, but silence was all he got.
There laid Eddie. He was breathing though.

Richies heart jumped as he saw Eddies chest rise and fall over and over again slowly, Richie had never felt more relieved knowing Eddie was alive and breathing.

The doctor entered the room

"Should you be in here?" The doctor said looking at Richie who also had some cuts and bruises.

"Should I be in here?" (Richie asked rhetorically).

"Yes I should be, you see this boy, this boy right here? He's my best friend. Not only that but he's my boyfriend. He has been there ever single time I was hurt mentally or physically it didn't matter what was wrong, he was still there and took care of me. So now it's time for me to return his love, and take care of him. So yes doc I should be in here."

The doctor a bit taken back at what the small boy had just said.

"What's your name kid?" The doctor asked sincerely.
"R-Richie Tozier." Richie replied shocked the doctor wasn't upset with him after he had just let his feelings out to a complete stranger.

"Well visiting hours end at 8pm tonight, if you stay past them you have to sleep in the patients room" the doctor said patting Richie on the shoulder.

"Okay thank you..one last thing though." Richie said right when the doctor turned away to walk out the door.

"Is he gonna be okay?" Richie said with his hopes up.
"He's gonna be just fine especially since he herd are whole conversation." The doctor said smiling and walking out of the room.

Richie filled with joy and utterly confused, he turned around to see Eddie laying there, awake starring at Richie with tears in his eyes.

"E-Eddie are you ok, please say yes. I know the doctor said you were fine but I need to hear it from you, please tell me your fine." Richie said hoping he would say he's more then fine, because then he would've known the physical pain he caused Eddie was gone.

"Chee...I'm okay, no better then okay, hearing those words come out your mouth was the best thing anyone could hear. Ever." Eddie said with a single tear slowly sliding down his face.

"Eddie I'm so so SO sorry I said that at my house I know I had no right and I was tired of Bev acting that way and you.." Richie trails off remembering how Eddie lipped "I'm sorry" to him before sitting on the floor at the confession session.

"I know I'm sorry Chee I didn't mean to leave you with that thought in your mind." Eddie said sounding guilty.

"Did you just apologize to me?" Richie said a bit aggravated.
"Ya?" Eddie responded sounding confused.

"You mean to tell me, you apologized to me for saying two words . Then I caused you all that pain, and you still...wanna apologize to me?" Richie said smiling huge knowing his Eddie Spaghetti was back, he was acting as if he wasn't in the place he hated the most, the hospital, all the germs disgusted Eddie. Even when his mom came down with the flu and she was in there for a whole week, Eddie never visited her once.

"Shut up Chee and kiss me already." Eddie said tugging Richies shirt.
Richie leans in and gives him a warm kiss one that made Eddie feel safe.

"EDDIE BEAR!l Sonia says running down the hallway darting her head in rooms looking for Eddie.

Richie didn't know what came over him but the Curtin in-front of Eddies bed caught his eye, he grabbed it sliding it all the way covering Eddie but not enough to cover himself.

"Quick" Eddie whispered yelled towards Richie, patting the side of the bed that wasn't taken up by Eddies small figure.
Richie climbed in Eddies bed next to Richie laying down next to him.
"I love you so much" Richie said in a low tone so no one would hear but Eddie.
"I love you to-" Eddie was cut off when he herd His mother's voice getting louder. She passed there room, thankfully some how she didn't see them, thanks to Richies quick thinking.

"As I was saying." Eddie says pulling Richie close and kissing him lightly on the lips, now Richie felt safe.
"I love you too Chee."
